Lambo Guy Report post Posted October 21, 2013 Hey guys, I've got a client that needs to move some expensive musical equipment (1 or 2 synths), records, studio monitors, and some other things from his studio in Berlin to NYC. Can anyone recommend a quality company that can do the job? Any idea what this sort of thing should cost with insurance? TIA
Jpegs13 Report post Posted October 21, 2013 DHL, FedEx or UPS are all reliable shippers that will insure the freight for whatever value you chose to put on it. I really have no idea of the cost, but you can plug the figures into the websites for an estimate
sharifk Report post Posted October 22, 2013 I use to work for bax global in JFK, they're now known as db schenkers. Berlin to JFK via Lufthansa shouldn't be a big deal. Give the JFK office a call and I'm sure they can assist you.

autoxscooby Report post Posted October 22, 2013 I usually use fedex, just make sure to call their great rates number before you send out the package so you can get a discount (20 to 60%)

Its not uncommon for us to ship equipment worth six figures, just put insurance on it.
