VCR Report post Posted October 28, 2013 ^Tourist were banned on several occasions between 2008 to 2010. And it was closed to visitors for a few months after the 3/11 earthquake. Castor Troy Report post Posted November 1, 2013 I went to the fish market in the afternoon around 2008 I think it was. I did not see the appeal. It's just a bunch of stinky strange fish, the ground is covered in water that stinks like fish, everyone there stinks like fish and you get the general vibe that you're really not wanted there. I would not get up before the sun just to see an auction there. I'm amazed that the ocean near Japan has any sea life left in it after all the crap I saw them selling.
