Taking car in Monday to GMG to manufacture rollbar.

They also be modifying factory seats for belt pass-through and 5 point.

Doing this so I can run in Silverstate in May. Will also do the

Honestly they are some of the best in ca if not the country, you pay for it...... But what they have shown in their development and racing prowess over the years especially as of late is nothing to take lightly.

As soon as I can scrounge a few more dollars, I am going to have them do the final race prep on my GT2

yea they wanted to do exhaust system for mp4 and use my car for development but since I already have fabspeed cat

think I would be just throwing dollars away for extra 10-20 hp

Congrats! Silverstate is one of the best events, everyone needs to do it at least once.

You running grandsport?

I've done it 5 or 6 times 150 mph class (165 tech max)

I never try to win (closest mph average 150.) I just go as fast as I can in class without getting DQ which is 159 mph average)

Think last time out I averaged 157+

Yes it is one thing tp sprint to 150 mph for few seconds ..quite another to AVERAGE 150 mph for 90 highway miles

with uphills, downhills, sweepers and all usual highway curves.

FUN STUFF!

Nice, I see lots of people doing that for the thrill if you don't want to tech the car for the higher classes.

And I don't blame you, it would ruin an exotic.

Where is the standing mile taking place.

Usually they close off a portion of a straight road near town and run it there, at the end you turn and loop back through town to the start.

It's a little hairy for insane speeds as its a crowned two lane public road and when I was there, we were getting 10mph cross wind on and off. Up to the low 200s shouldn't be too big of a deal.
