Night Life Report post Posted June 3, 2014 Hi All Just returned from an amazing 5 day run in the mountains with my DR, car ran incredible, I will post pics soon. But on the very last day at the end of the run returning to Hotel my clutch rod snapped . This has been a reoccurring issue with Diablo's in the past I heard, probably due to heavy clutch. Someone told me there is an updated venison of this Clutch Rod, if so does anyone know where to obtain this ?? zack Report post Posted June 3, 2014 There was a guy: John Custer who made a much stronger clutch rod - see more details here. Doesn't seem to be much current info on the web about him / it , but I'd be surprised if he had stopped making them. VCR Report post Posted June 16, 2014 I bought one from John Custer early last year so he should be making them still. But he wants USD500 instead of the $400 mentioned on the link.
