What an amazing difference in sound and weight! The factory muffler was a monster weighing in at a whopping 77 lbs while the Larini is only 29 lbs. That's a savings of 48 lbs! The factory secondary catalytic converters weighed 26 lbs for the set versus the Larini Race DeCat Pipes which are only 8.5 lbs. That's a savings of 17.5 lbs and the great thing about it; No Check Engine Lights! Total Savings of : 65.5 lbs! and a grin from ear to ear when you rev up this Italian Beast outfitted with Larini! cyril Report post Posted June 12, 2014 Correct, The factory LP640 mufflers are all the same... the US cars do have a 2nd set of cats.
