ToofDoc Report post Posted December 4, 2014 Any of you have any experiences with Novitec's module to lift your rear active spoiler wing? It costs around $800 - $1500 for the module. I've heard from one source that it doesn't work? How can I get my wing up? I have no spoiler activation button since I have a 2014 model. I've heard from one source that it doesn't work? How can I get my wing up? I have no spoiler activation button since I have a 2014 model. novitec requires cantronic to control the wing module. Wing will raise up 1 level at 80km/hr and goes down when it hit 180km/hr, it will raise up again when below 180. But the logic is wrong it also create error said rear wing defective. The cantronic module is very hot they need to fix this and NO it does not come with the button to press and raise up the wing. To adjust the car speed to trick the car while parked? Is that another part Novitec sells that one required for the wing module to work properly? Fabspeed_Motorsport Report post Posted December 8, 2014 just get a Vagcom. We use it for every intsall. you plug it in to cycle the spoiler and when up, reach in and unplug it (I think the plugs on the left, we have not had a 700 in in a few months so I may be wrong on the plug location.) Fabspeed_Motorsport Report post Posted December 9, 2014 Thanks David!! I'll look into it. I believe you're correct on the plug, it is on the left side (drivers side). I think the command was under the aerodynamics module and it's called output test. like I said it cycles all the vents and spoilers open and closed. it does it slow enough that you can reach in and grab the plug though. It's also handy and able to check fault codes (I'm fairly certain it can delete as well, I really don't remember but one of my techs said it does). I have used it on Bentleys, R8's, LP's, my personal Audi S4, VW's obviously, Porsches from 993s to 991s. For the price it's invaluable and the best thing next to the OEM LARA tool for a tiny fraction of the price.

Is there a cable I need to buy? Do I buy the VW or the Audi one? Can you lead me to the correct product website to purchase? Sal Report post Posted December 10, 2014 David: I did some "googling".... Is Vag-COM a software? VCDS? Is it by Ross Tech? Is there a cable I need to buy? Do I buy the VW or the Audi one? Can you lead me to the correct product website to purchase? Here is the info for the Ross-Tech.. If you tell them it is for the Lambo Aventador, they will tell you it doesn't work for that application. Ignore them it does work.. You need to get The Ross-Tech Hex-Can USB interface.. I bought mine from Europaparts. http://www.europaparts.com/vag-com-diagnos...-ross-tech.html You can also reset oil service light. Hope this helps. wicked bull Report post Posted July 7, 2016 I have the Novitec wing and module. The module does not work. Hi, I got the double wing and the novice module from Germany and it had no install instructions for the module, would you happen to have them ? also when you say it does not work, is it ok to drive the car without this module ? I have requested germany to send me the install instructions, but most likely will not get them till next week, wanted to drive the car this weekend since I have the wing installed ... thanks
