Makes me sick - civil asset forfeiture

Ontario is really messed up on confiscating and destroying cars suspected of future use street racing. I know years ago, when I lived there, they had a real problem with illegal street racing. Groups would meet up at a Tim Horton's, near country back roads. They'd arrange races in the parking lot and go race on a country back road. It was a wild scene. People would bring full out drag cars on trailers. This was back in 97/8 time frame. A friend of mine raced weekly like this, I watched a few times. His car was a 70's VW Bus with a 930 Porsche engine, running twin turbos, it was wickedly fast.
