More gripping than the Post with Streep thanks to Sorkin, but it is barely an HBO Saturday afternoon worthy flick. Shape of Water: 2+ hours of a mute woman seducing the creature from the black lagoon. Add in commie spies and evil g-men, and then multiple graphic love scenes with a slimy creature, and you have this ode to 1950's films.
