Buddilly Report post Posted March 30, 2017 Does anyone know if the Performante stripes on the doors are painted or a decal? I am considering several colors that will not look good with the green/white/red stripes so I will probably either cover them with gloss black vinyl or remove them. Probably makes sense to cover that spot regardless so the black area is continued to the rear of the rocker, since that is already the design. sl55 Report post Posted March 30, 2017 I was told you could request to have the tricolore stripe painted but it'll cost big $$$$.

483hp Report post Posted March 30, 2017 You can ask to have the stripe and/or Performante logo painted. Ad Personam must not have expected anyone to actually ask for it because they still haven't told me how much they want.
DarrinB Report post Posted March 31, 2017 The 3 stripes on the Huracan performante seem too thick to me and stand out a bit too much. The 570 SL stripes were much more subtle and flowed better to me.
SilverViper Report post Posted March 31, 2017 It is a decal. I confirm. I touched them in the Lamborghini Montreal showroom yesterday.

Hopefully no paint comes off with them!! I will have my body shop/custom shop do it of course...

With a heat gun they will come off quite easily without much effort. You never want to pull on it to remove, even paint protection film. A bit of heat does wonders. D11 Report post Posted May 13, 2017 If you do remove the Italian flag decal, not referencing the "Performante" script, do you all think it needs a strip of black gloss vinyl (Style Package) or matte black vinyl in its place to keep the angle clean with the all black side skirts on the car? I'm leaving mine to start because I do think it is a distinguishing characteristic instantly recognizable that it's something special beyond a 580/610, but I agree it works better on some colors than others and it is thicker than hoped for like the
