I believe my car does not have cats at the moment. I will need to do inspection soon & will need cats to pass emissions here in TX. Does anyone have them for sale or know where I can find some...even aftermarkets? TIA.

I've been looking to install a wired remote for a new head unit. Unfortunately, the excellent Sony RM-X4S steering column stalk remote has been discontinued. I can't seem to find any other column stalk remotes.
Any suggestions on how I can better integrate a wired remote? Thanks in advance.
You have the right idea regarding the wired remote. Beats having to reach for the damn controls on the head unit everytime u want to change the songs/channel. I'm trying something different with a touchscreen dvd. Will try to mount the unit closer to the shifter for easier reach. Which means I will have to do a custom panel as well. I'll post when the project gets started.

I owe the board an apology.
About 6 months ago I saw that tool kit on Parts-express. It jogged my memory of the last time I had to take my cluster out. I assumed (yes thats the correct usage of the word) the sizes would work, but I never had a chance to test them myself.
Next time I will post if I have used something myself vs something that looks like it MIGHT work or be a good idea.
I am truly sorry to those I miscommunicated to and misled them to purchase the set.
no prob...i'm sure it'll be useful for something, somewhere, somehow.

CONGRATS! I can empathize. Now...get ready for some sleepness nights. Hopefully, your baby will sleep throughout. But mine...wakes up every 2-3 hrs for feeding. Needless to say, I am exhausted. But the joy of parenthood is bliss

Damn...that countach model is really nice & detailed. Remembered when I was young & had a plastic model countach. Dummy me, decided I didn't like the color red & try to remove it with gasoline. Boy...did that work. It took the paint right off...along with my skin & nose hair. Minutes later, the countach ended up melting into a pile of plastic. Oh...the good old days. What does 1/12 & 1/18 mean exactly?

Was that you in the camaro? I was double checking & then triple checking my blindspot. Haven't had a feel for the car yet. I was getting kolache with my son. I was concentrating on not scraping the driveway. Funny u mentioned reverse. Must have stalled 3 times trying to park. Kinda embarassing...so I just laughed it off with my son. I def will try to make it to uptown park.
