  1. I am a moderator pretending to be a car enthusiast! ^^^^^^
  2. That's why they are still sitting in Florida with asking prices of around 539k! I could care less if the MP4 can or can't stay with an Aventador, pull both into a cars and coffee on a Saturday morning, and watch the MP4 get ignored, and moved to the Mitsubishi section. Now if they allow customers to add the Hi Sport front nose, and fenders, might be a different story. They still can't even get the Meridian sound system to work, yet the cars are still rolling off the assembly lines. There are 4 MP4's or more for sale in the U.S. There will be more. I would still add headers, straight pipes, Novitec exhaust and Tune to a 458 all day. Would be interesting to see the results then.
  3. Any news on the weights?
  4. Confusion of the Blade Movie soundtrack
  5. Why they don't put the full B&O system in the Gallardos in beyond me? Audi R8 gets 4+ speakers, yet the high end gallardo gets 2? Still, even the stock Gallardo system is way better than the Ferrari Scuderia crap system. Even for 2009 you don't get the 16M JBL setup, pathetic.
  6. Well I guessed right on #2. Hopefully Todd C. was truthful with me, and fired that guy.
  7. So it sounds like it was a one owner car? Roy must be mistaken on it's ownership history. Talked with my tech about the 2WD conversion, are you using stock alignment specs? You mentioned you just lower the car 3/4 of an inch to compensate for the loss of weight. Man, BGC is sure slow on getting titles delivered! Do you know who installed the clear bra? Looks like it was the same guy from Esoteric that did my Scuderia?
  8. So which owner put the miles on it? Your link showed Hawkeye (Fchat) username got it with really low miles! Less than 100? Thought he bought it with over 2k miles? Anyway, other than the interior rattles, which are covered under warranty, the car drives nice. Gearing is very tall, and you have to be careful, because 100 comes quick. Was doing 90 mph in 25 mph zones, easy to do, just max out 2nd gear, lol.
  9. Sounds good, let the fun begin.
  10. Make the dealer fix this, or option 2, just buy one off Ebay, or from Newport Beach parts dept.
  11. Reason you are not feeling any gains after removing primary cats is most likely you have not had the car tuned. Stock ECU's are not tuned for no cats. Get an Evoms tune and I bet it will be significant. Plus, they can tune your car to keep the cel light off.
  12. Roy told me the first owner was a collector from Beverly Hills, car was traded in on an Aventador? I thought Hawkeye was the 2nd owner for only a very short while? Anyway, will keep the small "SV" sticker for a while. I agree with Roy, there is already the 670-4 sv badge in front of tne rear tires. Just need some matte black protection for the lower black section parts, new clear bra on passenger side lower rocker panel (it's peeling) a good polish, and a couple interior rattles fixed. Love all the haters!
  13. Why? Are you going to track it, or lower it?
  14. Careless, and inconsiderate owner's many times keep stuff like this as souvenirs. It is up to a consciencious dealer when they take a car in on trade, to deduct for stuff like this that is missing, and then replace it. Ron Tonkin in Portland will deduct on a Ferrari trade in for everything missing, and then make sure when they put it on their lot, that it is replaced. If a car is missing stuff, make your purchase contingent on those items being included with the car, and have them get the missing stuff. Or you can do what I have done, just search through EBAY, and find out what replacement costs would be, and then get a discount off the car for whatever you are going to have to spend to replace the missing items.
  15. Are you the one that put all the chips in the bumper, and in the inner parts of the wheel wells? How many launches / burn outs did you do? Why would you need to drive it, when you have your own?
  16. I am in favor of the Big SV sticker, this is what the car used to look like with it on, what do you guys think? I am for the Big SV sticker, in the white color because black just would not show up on that dark of a car.
  17. I got your sarcasm. All in good fun.
  18. Yes, you are right, Roy Cat's got me confused with is post:
  19. Car is in Seattle, 4 hours away from me, but that is where the Service tech lives, and where NW Auto Salon is, so I had it shipped there. After they are done, I will drive up and test it out.
  20. New Albany, i assume Todd and Craig work on your cars?
  21. Yes, that's the one, bought it from Mir at BGC.
  22. Based on my favorite, magazine tests, 10.9 for the SV vs. 11.5 for the Scuderia. Funny, but don't think the Scud will be able to stay with it, in a straight line. Even around the Top Gear track, SV beats the Scuderia by .7, 1:19, vs. 1:197. All depends on the driver, and how bad you want to fry the clutch from a standing start. Will be interested to see different PIS settings when I get up there to take a ride with Josh.
