  1. I now have 5,000 miles and I rotated the tires. I am running Red Line 5W20 oil but plan on using Renewable Lubricants Incorporated, RLI, 0W20 next. From previous: aehaas
  2. There may be a few others around: aehaas
  3. My other thread has a few extra shots of things in the garage: http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=22680 aehaas
  4. My wife finally got her Bentley GTC, first baby pictures:
  5. The new car has an actual ZF automatic transmission that is seamless. My neighbors just traded in their s600 for the Quattroporte and it is a good car, there is room in the back and the front and of course it is speedy. aehaas
  6. My old car was traded in on this one. MB Sarasota did well with me. aehaas
  7. I am the sort of person who buys a car, gets it home, takes part of it apart to see what makes it tick, then drives it a week or two later. It seems odd that Bentley refuses to get me a service manual and would rather I take it apart blindly. Does the Freedom of Information Act apply here? What if I get hurt? Yes, I am doing it anyway. aehaas
  8. My wife's GT C should be here in 30 days. I will let you know but from the experience of other local owners the car is wonderful. aehaas
  9. I am 2 hours from the Tampa Bentley dealership, 3 hours from the Orlando Ferrari and Lamborghini dealerships. It is just too far and besides I do the maintenance much more. Often. For example, the Enzo has 3,000 miles and the oil was changed 3 1/2 times. The transmission fluid was changed 2 times. For the Maybach, the original one I had, I changed the oil at 2,000 miles, 5,000 and 10,000 miles by my self even though the dealership is 3 miles away from my house. It is what I do. The MB dealership did give me all the oil filters though. I do a lot of experimentation with my cars. I discover things. For example, you have to remove the rear end of the Enzo to check or change the transmission / transaxle fluid. I figured out how to change it without touching the back of the car. FNA was glad to know how I did it. The list goes on. I was promised the document, I volunteered to go to Tampa and download and print it myself. They said it was no problem when I ordered the car and now they say no. aehaas
  10. I am looking for general service info as changing oil, belts, brakes, rotors, spark plugs and the like. Many things as wheel lug torques, a/c air filter replacements and light bulb access are not in owners manuals any more. Exploded parts diagrams are important. I have the complete shop manuals for my Murcielago and Enzo that were downloaded and printed for me. But the Bentley dealership in Tampa is not cooperating even though the sales manager promised me this information. aehaas
  11. There seems to be no way to get service information on this new car. Bentley tech info only has emissions data and then only through 2003. aehaas
  12. I got about 2,500 on the Enzo, 'need to drive it more. The Murcielago is driven often my its owner, my wife. It has close to 7,000 miles. It is hard to get the milage up when you have too many cars. aehaas
  13. My wife is in many pictures. You have to put people in pictures to make them scaled appropriately. aehaas
  14. The 62 is just too hard to park around town. We thought about it then decided on the 57 after driving both on the track at Sebring back in 2003. We kept our old phones. We actually never install them in the car. aehaas
  15. I had to argue with the MB USA people but was finally able to get them to make me an AMG version that was not standard. For example, I did away with the carbon fiber and used black maple wood instead. I changed the white leather parts to cream and added cream leather to the lower door panels. We also got the automatic rear door closing system added to this car. The car rides lower than my previous, regular, Maybach 57 and I like these lower profile tires with a wider contact patch. I am very, very happy with this car. Both my wife and I drive it as the car most often used. Of course we have to share time with some of the others to be fair to them. Here is one of the old 57: aehaas
