  1. Thanks all. Ok Evoque is too small. Definitely a cool idea, just not be enough for my needs. I think I'm going for the GC Overland Summit in Black/New Saddle!
  2. Thanks all so far. The toyota optioned out is $47, gc is $45, and jeep is $42. The jeep is fun but is prob a bad choice for a daily driver. The evoque...i love it! Drives more like a sports car with offroading ability. And great gas mileage. I just drove it...but im just not sure its gonna have enough cargo space...gotta see if my dog fits lol. And its also more $$ at $55k Guess its leaning towards the grand cherokee unless the evoque ends up large enough.
  3. Ok, I think I've narrowed it down to these three: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Artic Definitely feels like a fun car and you can remove the entire top or just make it a t-top. But is it too "rough" for daily use? 2012 Toyota 4Runner Limited I like the looks of the outside, but it has just an ok interior and doesn't drive great on the roads. Reliability is great though. 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (pictured is a limited, and I would prob get black or white) Seems more like a luxury SUV. Super smooth ride and lots of lux inside. But not 100% sure I like the exterior. I'll probably keep the car for no more than 2 years...knowing my history. Thoughts??
  4. Thanks all!!! I decided upon "C" However, I'm choosing B in the mean time (we have so much more in common and I can actually talk to her like an adult, unlike A) and seeing where it goes and if it doesn't go well, then just until C comes along! Oh and as to the snatch comments.....100 accurate I'm 29 btw.
  5. Thanks all for the responses so far! I agree with the looks thing. I think A is prettier but I totally can invision the have a kid and blow up thing. She is a slightly "bigger framed" girl now which is not evident in these pics so much. Looking to the future, fitness runs in my family - my dad has been into fitness his whole life and my sister does fitness modeling. So on the fitness front, things in common etc, B wins for sure. And to the old adage look at a girls mom and you'll see what she'll look like....A's mom is a typical midwest overweight mom. B's mom is a tiny little thing that looks like she's 30. But A is a sweeter, more emotional girly girl, while B is more like one of the guys. Which I guess both have their advantages. My friends have only met B and loved her. My sister however met A and loved her, lol...! Personality wise, I think I mesh better with B just because of the maturity thing. A makes weird comments...oh and she likes justin beiber...I mean really?! lol I do like them both. I'm asking around (embarrassing I'm asking on the internet, hopefully I can delete this thread after I'm done with it!), cause I've been married before and it was a disaster, because we were so deadly wrong for each other. When I divorced I swore to myself I would listen to others opinions and be much more careful.
  6. LOL, this is so cheesy posting this on here, but don't know what to do!!. I've been seeing two girls recently and it's getting to the point where I am getting ultimatums from them both that I need to choose or it's over. I'm so confused, cause I like them both, but at the same time there are some negatives to them both..and man I hope no one here knows these girls hahahahahah!!! Girl A 23 years old. Super sweet, girly girl, would do anything for me. Pretty, but not into working out much (I am a lot), so just an average body type. LOVES kids and wants 2 someday. Very busy with school to become a nurse and works two jobs also. Bad thing is she has made tons of "jokes" like, oh if you drove that car or lived in that house I would never date you. When I bring those things up she says she was just kidding. I still think there is a little truth to it though. Also kind of immature. Lives 45 mins from me. Girl B 23 years old. Very sweet, but kinda tomboyish. Likes motorcycles, cars working out, etc. Grew up with 4 brothers and because of that wants 4 kids (seems like a lot lol!). Very into working out, extremely fit etc and wants to be a fitness model. Is a manager at the vitamin shoppe and also a bartender, but wants to quit the bartending thing. Lives 5 mins from me. What do I do?!?!? haha.
  7. 0% fat?? That's bad advice. Healthy fats are very good for you and will satiate you. You should have carbs, fats and protein in every meal. My ratio is around 50/25/25. Cutting carbs will drop water weight, but it doesn't last and isn't real fat. Someone else said it before calories in vs calories out. That's all that matters.
  8. Since getting my new AP, I don't think I have much use for the Sea Dweller anymore. I bought it in Oct 21 2007 from Perlman Fine Jewelry, an authorized dealer. It comes with all the original books, registration card, box, links etc. The watch keeps great time. However, being a rolex I find it's off by a few minutes each month. There are minor scratches/skuffs on the side of the watch and on the bracelet. They are virtually impossible to see when wearing the watch unless you hold it right up to to your eye. Pics: Here are the sides with flash on, which show every flaw possible. It looks so much worse in the pics than in person lol $3750 OBO I'm in St Charles, IL, anyone interested is welcome to come see it. Any questions, comments etc please ask.
  9. Just did: http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=50637 No they said it was $22k, then I asked what kind of price they can do and he said he'll have the purchasing manager call me as he knows profit margins best. So not 5 minutes later the guy calls me and I ask what kind of price he can do and he says what did I have in mind. I thought great, one of these LOL. So I said $15k. He said almost immediately he couldn't do it, but that he can "come close" if I go to the store. I figured what the hell since I wanted to try it on anyway and if they wouldn't do the price I'd buy off ebay. But I went there, loved it and said now let's talk price and mentioned how the guy on the phone said he couldn't do 15k but could come close. So I said that's the number I'm comfortable with because of the sales tax, otherwise I'll buy online. Some lady came out from the back and she asked me if she makes the call and he says yes will you buy now. I told her yes. She made the call and he said $15,460 is the absolute lowest he could go. My sales guy seemed shocked that he said even that low, so I don't know if it was an act and I could have even gotten more off, or if it was more off than they normally do, but I took it and am happy regardless. Online the best price one I found was $15,500 plus shipping and wire fees. So I paid an extra grand (basically tax) for peace of mind that it's real and with a warranty and double warranty via amex. The amex points don't hurt either .
  10. Thanks, you guys have good taste I'll be in the wearing it daily bunch too. No reason not to. I don't have a bunch of other watches anyway. Like the rolex it goes well with shorts and a t-shirt or a nice suit!
  11. Whoohoo!! Went to Swiss Fine Timing today in Chicago and bought an AP ROO with a Panda Face. I didn't even realize that the roman numerals turn bright green in the dark. Pic sucks, taken with my camera in the car: I'm coming from a Rolex Sea Dweller, which I liked a lot, but not in the same league as the AP! It was pricey (to me), but I think it'll be worth it. They seem to hold their value and last a long time. I really like it. I gotta get used to the size and weight of it though, it's a monster! Anyone know if it is easy to size it (remove/add links) yourself? It fits fine now, but in the winter time will probably be a tad loose.
  12. Thanks guys, I picked it up today!!! $16,700 out the door, tax included - 4 year warranty! (2 more years by using amex)
  13. I'm in love with a AP ROO Panda Steel bracelet and might make the drive to the store to try it on and also possibly purchase if the price is right. But I wanted to see what type of discounts off MSRP can be had? Its an authorized retailer, actually the only one in IL (Chicago). MSRP is $22k he said over the phone. Is $16k-17k realistic for an authorized retailer? I know you can buy them off ebay and I may do that, but if the price was comparable, I'd prefer to buy from an authorized store. Thanks
  14. With root you can wifi tether for free. So worth it! Launcher Pro is my fav app.
