  1. This car #3781 was specially ordered and modified in 1976 for Hubert Hahne the German importer in the '70s ! Bob Wallace already left the factory when this car was built, so Bob has nothing to do with it...
  2. Is this a correct answer to you ? Here are Ferrucio Lamborghini ‘s own words, in an interview accorded to “Thoroughbred & Classic Car” magazine – UK in January 1991 : “I preferred the Jarama to all the others, because it is the perfect compromise between the Miura and the Espada. The Miura is a sport car for the young at heart who wants to go like hell and love to be seen. Myself, I considered the Miura too extrovert after a while. In turn, the Espada was my Rolls Royce : still quite fast, but also large and comfortable. The Jarama is the perfect car if you just want to have one car.” What else can be added ? Olivier
  3. Jarama market price is raising as it deserves ! Look at Islero...no way to find one under 60.000 euro //84.000 US$. What's the difference in between Islero and Jarama ??? Limited production number ? no way survivors have same figures Engine power ? no way, same engine 4.0 liters Performances ? no way, similar Quality of building ? still the same There is no "Miracle" Guys, I know quite a few Jarama around 25.000 euro and many more in between 40 to 55.000 euro. All depends of what you are looking for a GT or GTS ? a restoration project ? a car to finish ? a driveable car ? a good maintained one ? a restored one ? Let me know, I can orientated you for the budget you are ready to spent... Last 3 months Jarama market price raised by +25% and that's not finished ! Hurry up if you want to make a bargain. Olivier
  4. It will be very nice of you to do so. Does a Lambo Club exist in Portugal ? Awaiting for your News !!! Cheers, Olivier
  5. Thanks Michael, waiting for your email. Olivier
  6. Correct, it's one the first 6 Islero produced that's all I know so far. None of these friends can help me Lou Herrin (Islero Registry) or Glen (Lamborghini Registry). Last color was orange in 1977. Any idea if it was destroyed or if still alive ???
  7. The first Islero delivered in France in beginning of June ’68 to French importer VPM. First French registration was on 1968 12th July. Colour was light green with black leather, no A/C option. French journalist "José Rosinski" published an article in "Sport Auto magazine" in July 1968 issue. It was the first Islero presented to French Public at Paris exhibition in 1968. Then, it was sold and delivered to an unknown guy. Second owner, a Lord who was residing in South of France, registered it in 1971 14th October and he changed it into silver colour. Third owner owned it from 02/1975 to 1977, he changed its silver colour into ORANGE. In mid 1977, a guy “David XXX” living in south Paris area (around Monthléry) bought it to Garage Europ Sport. That young man didn’t register it, keeping previous owner’s license plate in “37” French Dpt. This last known owner is deceased, loosing that trail. Any help allowing to locate this Islero 400 GT or to prove it was destroyed is welcome : [email protected] Thanks in advance. Olivier LCB
  8. Can you ask your friend to send me Pictures + VIN of Jarama, I'will put it in Jaramaregistry.com mentionning it's for sale. my email : [email protected] Olivier
  9. Emilio, If you can get the chance to identify this car : VIN number and the others details (missing parts ?) , please contact me or do it on this Forum. I still believe a budget of 30€ engine + 25€ body + 7€ interior + 10 other mechanical parts = +/- 72.000 € Cheers, Olivier
  10. Hello, Are you still owning your Jarama #10102 ? I would love to update your pictures on my web : www.jaramaregistry.com Please have a look on the website, check info about your car and come back to me throught my direct email address. Olivier LCB
  11. Correct, the one at Loris's place belongs to Belgian guy, Serge Koninckx. I'm still waiting for pictures for months before going in Italy. So I was expecting it may be that one located also in Italy...
  12. Do you know its VIN number ? Is it the one standing at Loris's place ? Olivier LCB the owner told me car was partially disassembled for a restore that never begin if somebody wants to restore it or buy for parts let me know i could ask him how much he wants to part with what previously was an islero
  13. Dear Lambo enthusiasts, www.jaramaregistry.com is launched !!! This website is putting in front row that "forgotten Lambo" as it deserves, plus technical advices, history, and so on. I will appreciate your help by providing me your comments in order to be more accurate. If you can also forward this information around you and to Jarama owners, it will be nice if they can share their own experience with me, my direct email is at the "contact" section of that website. Belgium has its own Lambo Club too, with a bench of real Lambo enthusiasts I've created it. Never happen before for unknown reasons... Our calendar will be soon launched. Kindest regards from another Lambo enthusiast. Olivier LCB www.lamborghinibelgiumclub.com
