What is the stock ride height on a diablo? My 93 has just over 11cm or 4.5 inches from the bottom on the center of the front bumper to the ground.. What is everyone else running?, i am thinking i could go a bit lower...

If the shifter requires THAT much force to shift, I think the solution is to repair the gearbox, not a stronger stick!?

obviously, if you keep the rpms at >6000-7000 like at the very first scene, you are going to get a higer pitched sound. I was not trying to get "Cannonball sound" at all, I just hit me when I saw the recording, and I still think that 2:17 is a close match on the acceleration sound. BUT, this is how a Lambo V12 with and open exhaust sounds like, odd or not, this is the raw V12 lambo sound, unfiltered. I find it VERY addicting! I do not have any good pictures of the setup yet, only Iphone pics

Okay, odd, how? Test pipes, straight pipes, Murci roadster twin exit. Small ixus camera thou. Sound pretty much dead on like 2:17 in the cannonballe intro to me...

I hooked up my Alarm/remote system yesterday. The first owner removed a fuse to disable the system. The remotes works fine, the car BIPS, the indicators flash and you can hear the door locks operate, but the doors are not locked. I have tried all sorts of combinations locking the doors manually, and then locking with the key fob etc, but the doors simply either dont lock or dont unlock. Both doors lock and unlock fine with the key, and the central locking works fine. Its the MED standard system, and I have heard from others that this system can be tricky. Btw. that alarm is really noisy when you open the doors with the alarm set!......

The fog light. Not the reflectors in the bumber, the foglight is just like the backup light expect its red. US diablo does not have this, only the EU cars I belive

Huh? Why, the se30 does not have rear fog light? I wrote COBO spa and asked about the specific part number

As the title says, I need a new rear fog light lense for my 93 Diablo. Eurospares was NOT able to help me, so I hope that somebody has a spare they want to part with?

I am finishing off some small projects before spring, and wanted to share some pics. I love seeing other peoples garage projects, so here is my 2 cents. Alcantara steering wheel + Centerconsol and a shiftknob changed. Front turnsignal was changed to clear ones, Thanks to steve a Driven exotics. Front trunk amp has been removed and a CF blind installed. With the new exhaust + test pipes installed I am now ready for spring... Alltough I think I need to do something about the noise level.I measured 98dB at idle...:eek: I have never experienced anything this loud before, period. Including Ferrari Fxx and Koegniseegheeegeeh with 1080Hp in a rev battle at LeMans.

Front headlamps for early cars(2wd,VT SE30 and some SV and roadster) are a Hella unit identical to Corve++e C4, Astro van and Nissan King cab. Nissan unit is 40Eur, from lambo = 120Eur

Mystery solved. This little unit is a Dim/Dip device, which is factory on all UK Diablos (2wd, VT, SE30 and roadster) The device reduced the voltage on the low beam to use as DRL. This was apparently required by law in the UK in the 90´s. The lambo part nr. is 001627472 and is 85Eur

The previus owner of my 93´removed both the head unit and AMP from my car. All the wires are still there (I belive), but I have a hard time figuring out what all the wires are for. I would like to just install headunit wired directly to speakers, so no AMP. Is the white connector behind the radio the standard connector that feeds the radio power, ground, iginition etc? Also the previus owner did not like the way the original alarm/remote functioned, so he disabled it. Underneath the console i found these to boxes "DIGITAL"written on them, do these boxes control the alarm and remote locking? Anyway the 15 amp fuse i the front box was blown..

Hi again Peter. I was trying to figure my amp/radio wires out, and took this picture. Turns out I DO have the same little box in my car. Mine is hooked up with the electrical connector. When I look at that connector it looks just the same as the one that is where my Radio should be. I will verify later if the other end of that cable is indeed the one behind the radio. If you read carefully on the connector that goes into the box its stamped "AMP".

I do not recall finding a box like that when I had my trunk panel off to check the brake fluid. Maybe something aftermarket for the stereo?

First of all the front fog light do work on my car, just ONLY in combination with the pop-up lamps. Car is a 93´ UK car. When I put the ignition on and turn the lights on, I get parking lights on. The small ones in the same lense as turn signal. When I turn the car on and turn the light on, the pop up come on as the should, togheter with the P light. I can the also turn the front fog light on with the bottom for those lights. If I then turn the head lights of, the fogs disapear togheter with the fogs. If turn the car on and only push the fog botton, the pop-ups also come up. So bottom line my fogs only work with the headlights poped up, is that normal?

Dont recall seeing that in my car... Look for a P/N on the item, and look it up in the online parts sites.
