  1. That's a good question that I don't have an answer to. I dropped the car off at Lamborghini of Orange County and then picked it up the next day when it was done. I have no idea what they did. All I know is that they gave me a bunch of parts in a large box and said not to lose anything in case I ever wanted to re-install it. You can always call their head tech Jeff at 714-496-1441. I'm sure he'd be happy to help you. Best of luck!
  2. I did this conversion almost two years ago and have had all the same results experienced here - a lighter front end (though easily manageable with minor adjustments), a much faster car (raced a friends's Plastic mess-06 pre and post conversion), stable at high speeds, and definitely more fun to drive since you can let the rear hang loose from time to time. The only drawback is the occasional foray into the canyons where the pucker factor is a bit higher! It's a simple conversion that is not irreversible and really changes the character of the car! Wouldn't go back to AWD unless I was selling the car!
  3. Thanks for the PMs and leads. We're losing Lambo dealers right and left (first here in OC and I recently heard Las Vegas closed the Palazzo location). No where close by to service my car!
  4. Any ideas on where their techs went or how they might be contacted?
  5. Thanks for the compliments! That BS is awesome looking! Mine is currently stock with the exception of some suspension work. I might consider different wheels but I actually like the stock wheels. So for now ... no mods are planned.
  6. Here are some "up close and personal" shots of the other cars starting with the Lambo. Some of you might recognize it from an episode of Supercars Exposed.
  7. Nope. Have two Stradales - both the Rosso Scuderia and the Nero. Also recently added a CLK63AMG Black Series. What an awesome car that is!
  8. Just call Dave at the number I listed in post #3. He is a very friendly guy and his skid plates are second to none. Trust me! I'm as anal as they get and I have his skid plates on all my cars! They are a PERFECT fit and engineered very well. I was able to bolt them on my Stradale by myself but I also have a lift in my garage. The body shop installed the ones on my Murcielago since I was having the front bumper resprayed from rock chips so I cannot say whether or not it's as easy as the Stradale was.
  9. Don't have photos but Dave at Premier in L.A. makes the best OEM looking skid plates on the market. I have them on all my cars. Ferrari of OC installs them on all new Ferraris as part of their PDI process. I have them on my Murcie. They wrap all the way around the underside of the lip and follow the contour exactly (which is why they look factory installed). Call Dave at Premier at 310-559-1562. He might have some photos or at least will be able to talk to you about them.
  10. This is probably the most accurate response to the question so far. My feeling is that the owner of Fchat allows anyone and everyone to sign up and post in order to achieve high post counts for advertising purposes. There is not enough moderating going on and a third of the members are kids or non Ferrari owners. Alot of trash talking, bs, and useless posting. I'm an active member over there and own three Ferraris in addition to my Murcie. Most of my friends are Ferrari owners and the REAL owners/drivers are no different than the owners of Lambos or other exotics. All good guys.
  11. Even if you lost you'd still look bad a** doing so!
