Funny. I didn't even think about special handling, then they called me and told me they delayed the car a week so it could be on a special roll-on roll-off vessel due to the value and ground clearance (no extra charge). When I went to pick it up it was parked up front next to a Bentley, and they walked me to the car instead of driving it to the pick up area. It was obvious they wanted to handle the car as little as possible. I'm sure Pasha will be good though.

I know how that wait feels. I bought a 997TT a couple months ago from La Jolla and it arrived two weeks ago. The wait was excruciating. Did you ship via Matson? My car was dirty, but they seemed to take good care of it. Haven't seen a ton of Gs around the island. I was in the market for a G before the TT, but just couldn't find the right car for the budget. I talked to the guy in CL that is tying to sell it, and it sounds sketchy. It's at a body shop in Orange County, but he insists it doesn't have body work. After our conversation I decided it wasn't even worth going to look at. Now it appears DC Motors has it,Manichaeism is also in OC. Very strange.

Good point, never thought of it that way. I gotta say though, even my outdated F1 was still fun to drive when I had it.

I thought I was dead set on getting an E-gear until I came read this thread. Might have to drive both back to back.

Not a fan at all. Definitely like the old gen better.
