I believe it depends if the second key was used or not, as it makes the car more aggressive (and it can touch 407 km/h). Also, if you see the videos on youtube of Veyron vs SLR, vs Carrera GT, vs Zonda F ... you already know the result, but the thing to be noticed is how it accelerates... it always stays in front right from the beginning. Yes, the car is a demo. Bugatti SAS sales team brought the GS to show it to "selected Veyron owners" here in UAE, so that they can place an order if they like the car.

This veyron is in Dubai. The Photoshoot was done in Dubai when it was newly delivered here. It had license plate# 13 initially, then the owner sold this car after sometime. Now it has plate# 17 Couple of pics i took a while ago

I feel that Stig didn't really push the car to its limits esp. on the corners, also he seemed to break too early. There are lots of veyron videos that show how the car slides on corners.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Gearbox of a Test-Driven or a Demo Veyron goes bad - Mostly because of the different ways it must be handled by different people. Also, since they dont own the car, they'll drive it like maniacs! Imagine you get a chance to beat the shit out of a McLaren SLR at Nurburgring, how you'd take it to the extreme. Would you do the same if you were its owner?
