  1. I have just over 5K on the car had the car since Aug / Sept of 08. put probably 3500K alone on the track last year. Not sure if we have that lemon law never had a car do this to me. I will keep everyone posted as to the fixes and issues as they come up.
  2. Here is the latest email from my dealer. A list of the error codes and issues that have been found. The factory was closed yesterday and I called my rep at home to discuss this problem, we followed up this morning with the factory after following the instructions our rep gave us and here are the notes I sent to the factory after our tests. “PREFORMED LARA AND FOUND ERROR CODES ON ENGINE ELECTRONICS 1 - P119A AND P1923. ON ELECTRONICS 2 - FOUNDS ERRORS P119B, P0175, P0300, P0301, P0303 AND P0305. ERASED CODES STARTED CAR WITH 2 MINUTES OF IDLE ERROR CODE P119A APPEARED, ERASED CODE WHILE DRIVING, CODE STAYED OFF WHILE UNDER LOAD, AT HIGHER RPM S 6000 AND UP MISFIRE ERROR CODES APPEARED FROM P0300-P0305 AS WELL AS POPING NOISES FROM EXHUAST AND LOSS OF POWER. CHECKED FUEL PRESSURE WHILE DRIVING UNDER CHANNEL 106 PRESSURE VARIED FROM 8-11 BAR (SYSTEM TO BE AT MIN 20-120 BAR), WHEN STOPPED CAR FUEL PRESSURE DROPPED TO 6.5 BAR, LIGHT TURNED ON AND CAR HAD NO POWER. TURNED OFF CAR AND RESTARTED (LONG CRANKING PERIOD) AND CAR STARTED AT 20 BAR AND IMEDIATELY DROPPED TO 6.5 BAR AND TURNED ON LIGHT”. Here are the answers to those questions from Lambopower members. 1. It would not trigger a fuel pressure code if the throttle bodies where and issue. 2. There is no problem with the EVAP, that was not the code that appeared, completely different issue. 3. MY04-08 do not use the same throttle bodies, 04-07 use the same throttle bodies and the 08 uses a different throttle body and an ETB to control the throttle bodies. MY09 is a completely different system than the previous two.
  3. I have emailed Lamborghini Toronto everyones thoughts to check into everything. I am sure they know what they are doing but its always good to try things they may have missed or did not think of. The dealership here has been very accomodating however it is a 45 minute drive with no traffic to bring the car in each time and its a real hassle. (they did in fact send a enclosed trailer to get it today which was nice of them. I know they have run the diagnostic checks on the car several times now but get nothing. One time the error code that came up on their computer was not even listed with a fix so the emailed Lamborghini Spa corporate to look into. Any other feedback would be appreciated and I hope that no-one else is running into the same issues with their LP560-4. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome of the fixes as they come.
  4. It was stored in a heated garage all winter. However the 2 fuel pumps have been replaced already after being stored, and the codes keep coming up. The dealer just sent a flatbed enclosed to pick it up this morning to have another look at it. Anyone advise on the standard procedure and what if anything Lamborghini Spa will do in cases like this. They have tried fixing already 2x with no luck. If they still cannot fix the car do they replace or do they keep trying? 1st lambo so not sure what to expect in a case like this.
  5. Hey guys, need some more advise after getting the 2 new fuel pumps installed on the car about 2 weeks ago. The error codes are back and the engine light has come on. The EPC 1-5 6-10 seem to happen when I am at a light in 1st gear idling, could it be that the idle limit is set to low? It almost seems to stall out when sitting at the light sometimes. But the other day I was passing a semi truck in 3rd gear when the car completely lost power to approx 50% in turn could not even get enough power to pass the truck. Then the engine light came on, and since then these error codes are becoming more prominent. Any advise from tech guys would help greatly. thanks
  6. anyone here have any feedback on the CLK63 AMG Convertible? Heard this thing is quick off the line with the following specs. 354 kW , 475 HP SAE @ 6,800 rpm; 465 ft lb , 630 Nm @ 5,000 rpm 6,208 cc 6.2 liters V 8 front engine There is on 2 unsold in Canada and they are out west so I cant even test drive Any feedback is welcome it looks like this one or the 2010 Maserati
  7. Let me know if he doesn't buy them as I too am looking for a set. I am just outside Toronto. Looking for both sets front set and behind seat set
  8. I Think I might wait for the Maserati, lets hope it comes sooner than later. I love the Bentley but not sure if I like the styling just looks old to me. Thanks
  9. anyone have luck with the bentley? Oh yeah forgot wife wants a convertable..
  10. So whats the general concensus. I am looking for a great looking, family sports car. Wife and I have been talking Maserati, or another Mercedes but just not sure. One thing is it needs a back seat for the kid. what does everyone think..
  11. I own 56 acres of space, great for the dogs and good fun for my daughter I love the country. I will take some new pictures and post them soon. These are 6 + years old.
  12. Here is a few older pictures of my house. We have done alot of upgrades since buying 5 yrs ago.
  13. which tires are on the rims? Do you know if these would fit on an LP-560? I need a set of track tires and rims.
  14. better to fix now before it causes any more issues. They say they should have the new pumps in about a week or so. So it looks like its gonna stay garaged for 2 weeks. Has anyone had this happen before where they had to replace the fuel pumps? Did they run into any other problems because of this?
  15. Well looks like the dealership will be installing 2 new fuel pumps on my LP-560. They got word back from corporate after sending in the diagnostic tests and they are shipping 2 new fuel pumps. They say this should correct the problem with the EPC error codes
  16. No but I beleive it has something to do with ECU and also when you start the car now all you do is press brake turn key once and then release and the car cranks itself. Call you dealer to get more details. I dont have all the upgrades and information on this one.
  17. Just came back from the dealership where they ran a diagnostic check on the car. Their computer came up with an error that there is no fixx for. They have taken all details and sent to Lamborghini head office for the repair. While I was there they said that there is an upgrade for all LP-560 cars in North America its the 040 upgrade and Europe is 060 upgrade. If your car has not yet been upgraded call your dealer and schedule your cars in for the upgrades. I will keep everone posted on the EPC Error codes and any fixes. (seems to happen more often when in sport mode while idling)
  18. I dont know this individual but the story seems to have many loop holes and unanswered questions. For one who in the hell leaves 6800 in a car with a gun? Then exactly what the other member mentioned if he was 4 payments behind how the hell will he keep current and pay of everyone loaning him money + interest. Sounds like this guy needs to let the car go and if there is truth in his forum then fight them in court. (In my opinion he would loose the case as his story is all one sided) Oh well he did learn something from his unfortunate experience bet he never leaves money in a car again.
  19. Thank you I will check into this and give it a try. I will also ask the dealership to check the fuel pressure to make sure there in nothing faulty. Thanks everyone will keep you posted.
  20. It happens more than regular I sometimes get it 2-3 times in a 2hour time span. Sometimes it happens while sitting at a light but more often then not happens when I am in 1st gear. I actually have to stop and shut the car of for it to reset on my LP-560. Any reasoning behind this? could it be bad gas? I use Sunoco 94 highest we have in Canada and I also add an octane boost to the tank as well. When I first got the car the dealer said that the bogging out may be caused from low octane gas.
  21. Is anyone having issues with their LP-560 cars? I am getting this error on a regular basis and the dealership is trying to find a solution. While driving or sometimes at idle the car flashes the EC 1-5 6-10 on the dash. this also causes a loss in power and the engine bogs slightly when trying to accelerate. Has anyone else had this problem?
  22. have you read the latest Robb Report on car of the year? The smart was pretty much a waste of a drive the only good thing is fuel economy and if you are looking for fun than the mini is the way to go. I bought my wife the mini cooper S for christmas one year and when I am need to take her car it is enjoyable.
  23. Guys After reading this entire post I am disturbed by the childish behaviour most are showing on a site I have come to know as a meca of information for owners and enthusiasts alike. I have recently just acquired my first Lamborghini after years of admiring this awsome machine. I beleive that everyone should have the opportunity to express their love for the vehicle in which ever way they feel necessary. If you buy the real thing or try and fake a replica. In the end it is who you are and what you believe to be the most important. Just remember that anyone of us that owns a real Lambo may one day loose everything then just be the enthusiast. This thread was disturbing to me in seeing a post from a very knowledgeable enthusiast not owner turn to a pissing match and my balls are bigger than your balls game. I would like to think we are older than this and can we please close this tread and get onto sharing information about cars again. Lets not waste any more time on the individuals in this thread and let them fight it out on another site not Lambopower. With all this said it was funny to see what transpired, but lets move on.
  24. Please dont let the one-off D*#ks ruin it for the rest of us on here. I see that he hasn't posted since that one guess he has no real balls! From everything I have read that Revention08 has posted she is the real deal and I wish there were more women like her. Please keep the posts coming and thanks for your imput from the side of a true female lamborghini enthusiast, I just wish there were more. I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to meet you down the road.
  25. I've been in this business for 20 years and this is not the time to get into the industry. For one insurance coverages on exotics is extremely high and 2 the proper equipment is not cheap either. Then theres the part where you have to deal with drivers all day long. Unless you will do it on your own which in that case you will loose your shirt then stay away from transportation business right now. We are going thru a tough time with the economic slow down and in the end I believe it will cleanse the industry and the strong dedicated companies will thrive.
