  1. Against a car like an F40 or F50 the F430 will lose out anywhere beyond 100mph, but up until there the F430 probably stands a chance because of traction. The F40 could blast the tires up to 100mph before hooking up and the F50 while more linear didn't have new rubber or launch control like the F430. I'm betting the 60-100mph, and if not then certainly 80-120mph times are much better for the earlier supercars. EVen when they had good 0-60s times traction wasn't guaranteed into 2nd or 3rd gear. With the F430 it essentially is.
  2. Well the Lambo almost certainly has more traction, but they are almost identical in a straightline and the while the Lambo probably brakes a little better the F50 is a lot lighter and more track oriented.
  3. There is one positive to take from this, all the cars looked incredible in those pics, the time of day was excellent for taking pics.
  4. I've always been a bigger fan of the 360 than the 355, but I've yet to hear a car that sounds better than a 355. There are a couple Ferraris that come close in a different sense, but not quite.
  5. That's a good point, I had forgotten about that. Even so, the extrapolation isn't necessarily false, it probably wasn't perfectly accurate, but considering that the Enzo has had several slightly better tests I don't see why even the extrapolated times are unreachable.
  6. Actually the only known 0-150 time for the Enzo is 13.1 seconds. It was set during the autocar test at Fiorano. I would normally use that as an argument that the Enzo is actually a little slower than that, but the Enzo tests didn't work out like the F430 tests. Both the R&T and 0-100-0 autocar independent tests were as fast or faster than the tests at Fiorano. So the Enzo is probably a 13 second flat 0-150mph car.
  7. BMW makes some of the best suspensions in the world... I doubt given those numbers it would have any problem beating the crap out of the F on the turns as well... Actually..... the test included track times from Oschersleben. Ferrari 575 = 1.45,45 - 125,26 kph BMW M6 = 1:46,90 - 123.50 kph Not exactly blown away, but the 575 is definitely the faster car on the track.
  8. I thought I was going to be "witty" by picking the Mustang. Seems I have found kindred spirits here.
