(iirc -- someone verify?) 2) Because it's 2 strait 6's welded together Seriously, due to port spacing they just took the design of 2 3-cyl manifolds and added a collecter and merge point. 3) No clue, however I have held up the exhaust system. Did they weld lead in the damn thing!?! holy crap was it heavy.

Actually, Marko does do quite a bit of street driving. Is it worth 80K? Perhaps to the right buyer. The mkiv platform is amazing. A near bullitproof engine, excellent packaging and good looks (subjective). But it's not an exotic. It wasn't designed to be an exotic. It wasn't designed to be a drag car either... just look at it's suspension design. The fact that they are turning the times that they are on stock IRS setups is pretty impressive. For that kind of bank roll, there are many other options before I dump it into a single supra. I own a mkiv, not nearly as wild but still potent none the less. But I won't sink anywhere near the kind of money to build anything of that nature. I don't think chad's times on pump are any more impressive than a supra on c16. It's all relative... big displacement/low octane or small displacement/high octane. The fact that a strait 6 will trap that high at pretty much full weight is slick no matter how you look at it James
