  1. Ill Fitting doors and silly vent addressed and ECUs going in for fire up this weekend. ECU going in.. It gets used this weekend when the motor is fired up!
  2. Power plant ready for install.. Next time you see it, the car will have swallowed it.. It is Shark week ya know..
  3. Thanks! If you do make it to Concorso it will be parked by the B.R.M. tent.
  4. Moving forward.. LOL Tonight, I have for you PURE GEAR-HEAD PORN Feast your gears on..
  5. 100K over sticker is 100K over sticker for either car they are all going for over but the point is the starting block is 57 to 65k lower on the Pony and the Lambo is WORTH IT over the Pony! When I was in Monaco we walked into the ferrari dealer and could have driven out in a F12 at sticker but then getting it into the USA another kettle of fish.
  6. Can I ask have you driven it yet? Out of all the people in the world on Lambo Power, I cant think of anyone more likely to have seen and or driven it than you. I can only imagine the fun Lamborghini is having in the valley of motors with the new car keeping its true design so quiet for so long. Lamborghini is kicking arse on the Pony so the Pony drops pants.. Example 2013 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta BASE PRICE $330,000 (est.) The Mighty Aventador coupe at $387,000 You have a $57,000 delta.. Given the two cars and I have driven both, I would take the Lambo ANY day of the week even on long drives. Thus want to bet the 458 Italia prices soften? Or the California (uggg not a fan) prices drop.
  7. The Mule is cool.. Its not G looking at all. Aggressive, elements of the S.E. and the Av. in a smaller package. Wonder if the power plant is V10 or V8..
  8. LOL the G replacement thread got a little heated.. So I moved it here. I have a different point of view because I have seen my car from the same angle as the mule photo. So its skewed. Im talking about elements and some lines, just struck me when I saw the mule. Front wheel upper flairs on the mule are brought further aft that is for sure. Much more aggressive for sure. And not a 73 brought forward that is 100000% for sure.
  9. Some design elements are in both cars just sort of fun to see NEW VS. Old Brought NEW. from what I see; Nose length close, Front Wheel well shape and flair close Rear side vents upper and lower close but not so close Rear Wheel arches close Not close, Doors Windshiled rake Debatable Roundness of lead into to the rear clip.
  10. If you really want the get this "shit" out of here, take it to another thread. I have a different perspective because I have seen my car from the same angle as the side shot of the mule photo and yes there are some design elements in the mule that are close and as such I posted the side view of my car, but the photo is not the same angle as the mule shot, hence its harder to see the elements that are close. Also note I put LOL as I see there are lines that are not in my car as well. So you feel empowered to jump all over it, fine agreed, take it to another thread... If you do not like any project that too is way cool. I may not like your projects or your choice in art. But I will respect your opinion and your work.
  11. Art is art not everyone like the same art, the cars are art and as such are subject to the same interpretations and no I was not posting it as a shill. The reference lines are what they are in my eyes. Yours are different, so cool no worries there, we might not like the same lines. But take the bashes to the proper thread or in an message. Lets get back to the G replacement.. lets do the poll in another thread then.. As it has no place here.
  12. Wow your eyes need work the 928 front engine, But thanks if that is your reference Porsche sold / made 61,056 928's and Lamborghini only 520 P250s.. So your point would be? Lets take this to the proper thread. OK?
  13. If you want to bag on my car cool but all I did was post a photo that showed the basic lines were quite close to those in the camo car mule. If you must bash the car do it on my thread this is thread is about the G replacement if you desire start a bash the twice baked bull thread ok?
  14. Why does it upset you the basic lines are close to the mule in the photo? So sorry if my car offends you.. Its a 1973 Urraco, btw the basic lines we kept so if a 73 Urraco upsets you delete it..
  15. For the Miura tribute headlights.. Last of the body mounts before the motor goes in! WHOOT!
  16. There is a Urraco on Copart flood car for under a grand but it was flooded with SALT water!
  17. The "seller" on ebay may know Nothing of the scammer or they may be working together its always hard to tell so said eBay. Thus for the last few weeks this poor "scammer" seller has been going to western union every day and every day I have a new form for him / her / it. They have been quite fun to play with. remember scammers are always wrong.
  18. Getting ready for the show. So we can drive a small fuel cell has been installed when the front end gets re-re-done we will put in a proper sized cell. And the Headlight Bezels.
  19. Im all set... Cant wait.. will be driving the 599 GTB once more this year, I know, I know pony in the bull ring.. Next year the LP420 SVM Urraco will do the stampede.
  20. They L@@K outstanding see them on the Lp420 SVM at Concorso. I picked up a set at the Grand Giro.. Had to get them they only made XX number of sets.
  21. Ya Giro Savage... lol I had random people walk up to me and as if I was Twice Baked... really every Stop it was a crack up!
  22. Turbo Joe is a legend in the Inland Empire for building - wiring race cars. He is a engineer and teaches automotive engineering at a local college. I asked him to go look at the car last year to help the other builder out. He saw the car and pointed out things the builder did not like so he threw Joe out and then sent him really rude text. Joe kept the text and did not tell me what happened just that The builder threw him out. The builder told me Joe did not know what he was doing. However, I knew what The builder was doing was 100% not correct. But the car was always kept in a state that I could not yank it. So when the builder released the car to me to send to Italy. I got it to ABD Racing Werks, Turbo Joe and Ted's Rod Shop. They have had it a few short weeks and have almost rebuilt the car. Turbo Joe showed me the text after I got my car out of the first shop. Had I seen that text I would have pulled the car out last Jan. And made Italy with the car done. But that's history now. We are fixing the flaws and pressing positively forward!
  23. As we get closer to Concorso I will post more.. That way when people see it at Concorso they can sort of get where we are coming from. I will however post a youtube of the motor coming to life with the new direction of the motor its crazy cool!
  24. The Original motor / trans were beasts! We also removed the old sheet metal after the new was placed on top so that remained the same. The front clip is now glass, the rear clip now has no trunk (90lbs). No rear seats and such.. However, the seats are twice as heavy as the stock seats. Dash is lighter so all in all we shall see when we weigh it.. I bet it is very close or just over original weight.. One thing we lowered the floor pan 1.5" and moved the CG lower as well. Motor weight is much lower and moved forward thus the CG is lower and further forward so that is really good. Sprung weight will be greater as the rims and tires are larger / heavier. But the suspension is way more robust than original. I have bikes with better suspensions then the Urraco had to start with.
