I give them props for running 238... I give them props for running 225 or whatever in the white SL... One guy wanted to race me... and I honestly would have... BUT... I am not running anti-lag or brake boosting... and with DP having that advantage, it would have been pointless. The part that sucks about DP is when part of their team feel it necessary to come talk shit to people who clearly did not start any trouble of feel the need to make any trouble... That is where you are a low class piece of $hit. What makes it even more interesting is when you talk about how great your car is... But you don't actually drive it yourself. I'm sorry that your car caught on fire, that sucks... But Karma has a funny way of working. I was very happy that one of the Shift Sector guys returned that missing piece of engine block to Taylor and the gang when we were out drinking. The R8 rolled out, and the car looked really nice. Hope the damage is not too bad, and you have it up and running soon. Mike

They will be worth what someone is willing to spend. I think right now, they are MSRP cars with less than 3-4k miles on them. With only 24 made the number of low mile examples will be slim. And then there are the guys that put turbo's on them and converted to AWD... HAHAHA Mike

Yea, the cars are getting so fast! We managed a new best of 212.80 and I was happy with that. The car still has a little more in it... Time will tell. I was more surprised with trapping 200.3 in the roll race. I thought that was a pretty good time, and was thrilled to bring home two awards for camp UGR. On a side note... Watching my wife drag a modded Plastic mess-06 and Boss 302 was kind of fun too Thanks to Kevin for the texts and phone calls with advice. Had a blast. Mike

So, I will be at Shift Sector in August with the Gallardo... My wife will be racing our .... wait for it... wait for it... Beetle that is a full APR Stage 3 I am not sure if my buddy Dale can make it in his Stage 3 UGR... He's been a little under the weather. So, that being said. Anyone else from camp UGR heading out? I am a sponsor under my shop " Northgate Transmissions " Make sure you come say hi and hang out with us. We will have plenty of room for friends to park with us, and I am more than willing to help assist any UGR cars at the event. Mike

I don't know about a manual... But the E gear I think is in the 8's. The problem is we are either geared to go 200+ or we set the gearing to go 1/4 mile racing. Nobody ( That I know of ) really decided to have the car set up for 1/4 mile times. Now... Mark my words, if you went to Kevin and said... "Hey Kevin, I want to run 7's in my Gallardo" Your car would run 7's But it may not a 225 1/2 mile car... Mike

For what this is worth, my squeaks were from the seat touching the plastic behind it. I moved the seat back up just a touch and it helped dramatically ... Mike

When the car is in "Thrust Mode" Will it auto shift, or does it have to be done manually. I don't want to go bang my car off the limiter trying to find out... haha Being that my wife may race it, I would like to know if she can launch and let the car shift. Mike
