  1. This is a ridiculous statement. Businesses execute these documents daily to protect their intellectual property. If the business you are going to brief won't sign one, alarm bells should be ringing in your brain. Your agreement should have at least some of the following types of words in it. Definition of Proprietary Information. “Proprietary Information” means all information that is identified as Proprietary Information by the Discloser and is disclosed by the Discloser under this Agreement. “Confidential Information” shall include all data, materials, products, technology, specifications, manuals, proprietary documents, executive summaries, business plans, accounting and other financial information, trade secrets, software programs, source code, object code, formulas, processes, know-how, designs, documentation, program files, flow charts, specifications, developments, improvements, inventions, techniques, customer information, prospective clients and customers, statistical data, research projects, development and marketing plans, promotional ideas, strategies, budgets, projections, licenses, prices, costs, new products, customer and supplier lists, and other information disclosed or submitted by either of the Parties. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, a receiving party shall not use Proprietary Information to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any products or software of the disclosing party and without the written agreement of the disclosing party shall not use the Proprietary Information to perform any services relating to, or to manufacture or assemble any parts, components or subassemblies of, the products or equipment of the disclosing party. If you are going to spend money on a lawyer, pay him to write a good NDA for you first. Cincy

  4. I would like to share my driving impressions from my first few weeks of owning a Stage 3 TT from UGR. Before I get to the details, some background. Stay with me, it will be worth it: When I was a young man I had the honor to serve as a Naval Officer. I was a member of the Surface Warfare community serving about a cruiser and a destroyer. As you may know, the Navy is comprised of several different branches. One of those is aviation. We ship drivers had a healthy rivalry with the fighter pilots. We spent a lot of time at the Officer's Club discussing their multi-species sexual preferences and recounting the familiarity their wives, mothers and daughters had with multiple platoons of Marine Corp infantrymen. While the rivalry was robust, underneath it all we had a lot of respect for the guys who strap their butts to 35,000 pounds of thrust, fight for their lives at Mach 2 and then put that beast they fly onto a rolling deck in the dead of night with no lights. We called these hero's NAFOD's. No Apparent Fear of Death. Some of the members on this forum remind me of those boys. Strapping into a 1800 HP sled with your butt a few inches off the ground, with only a few square inches of rubber in contact with the ground and hurtling down a runway at 200 plus miles per hour. N-A-F-O-D. If you are so inclined, this review will be of little interest to you. If you are an owner of a stock LP-560 and are thinking of a TT upgrade, and you are a normal, non adrenaline junkie, what I have to say may be of value to you. First, the answer to the question Why 1000 horsepower? My Lambo has the exquisite looks that no other sports car today under $1,000,000 has. Enhancing it with extreme horsepower to match the extreme looks seems natural to me. My wife, not so much. The fact is, we have a duty to keep the club exclusive and not let the MOPAR boys get the upper hand. Aside from the show car respect, the UGR version of the TT has all the variability you need to satisfy your horsepower lust but still act and drive responsibly when you need to. The boost can be turned off completely. The boost is controllable both in ultimate horsepower and by gear to give it to you where you want it. In my case that was 4th, 5th and 6th gear for short but thrilling pulls on open stretches of interstate. These features give you the best of all worlds. Daily driver like civility and open throated havoc if you so desire. The car I got back is definitely different than the one I sent. You must buy into the fact that the noise level is going to rise, the engine without boost, engaging through a bullet proof clutch will be a little rougher. It matters not. Given the beastly levels of rage the car can exude, these minor adjustments are inconsequential. The extra weight on the tail alters the handling in the twisties. It's not bad, just different. Be aware. The thrust. What can you say about the thrust? The only thing I can compare it to is the take-off roll of a jet trainer ride I took as a midshipmen. Incessant, savage but still controllable. The most fun you can have in three seconds with your pants on. You guys, not me. I am breaking the car in carefully. They have been no temperature issues (summer in south Florida), no leaks, no creaks. The quality of hoses, clamps, wires etc lives up to the Lamborghini standards. No issues with aesthetic appeal or function. This car came back to me cleaner and shinier than when I sent it. I am a fanatic detailer. No small feat for UGR. If they sweat this detail, I'm confident the rest of the engineering was done thoroughly. Bottom line. This is my exit car. Will never need another. If a pony car comes out with 1000 HP, I still have room to grow. To all you NAFOD's, enjoy the half miles. I'm happy with my short pulls and my plans to live to a ripe old age.   6. I put two tankless heaters in a new home I built. I had no experience prior to that with the product. I definitely saw a reduction in gas useage. They definitely save on energy. My previous house had tank heaters with a small recirc pump that made sure that hot water is available instantly when you turn on the faucet. There is a closed loop that continues to circulate through the tank. This feature is not available with a tankless heater so you have to wait for all the water between the faucet and the heater unit to empty before you get hot water. Depending on the location and number of units, this may not be a problem. We have a big house so it was annoying at first but we got used to it. THe case to use them is all about energy conservation.   12. OK here is the deal. I'm over 60. Don't race. Live for my weekend G drives. The car is so sexy I find myself just staring at it. I'm swathed in quilted leather inside. The problem: I got more of a kick out of the HP and torque from my previous car, a lot less expensive Viper. Won't say I'm dissapointed in the G, just that the Viper has more grunt that I enjoyed in measured amounts responsibly on on-ramps and in the passing lane. Possible solutions: 1. Aventador - Love the look but love the smaller, more nimble G better 2. Huracan - Nice car of course but seems to have lost the angular "edge" that makes the G a bad boy's car (even if I'm miles from being one) 3. TT upgrade Now I know you can go crazy here. To me, controllable boost with a max of 800 HP and ?? torque on pump gas is going to solve my problem for good (Really...) I intend to keep the car for 5-10 years and just enjoy the cruising. For Stage 1 owners (say UGR for test purposes): It scares me to dump all of that HP and torque into a stock clutch and engine. What is the deal on reliability presuming I drive like a sane human being? Particularly worried about the e-gear clutch. How much weight does the kit add? With the majority of the parts way out back does it screw up the handling? I love the planted AWD handling of the G more than almost anything else. Exhaust: I prefer not to announce my presence with a crazy loud exhaust note. Even though this car cannot go unnoticed, I prefer that I remain the only one who knows what lurks under the hood unless I'm at a Cars and Coffe meet-up. Does the UGR package retain the exhaust flapper valve? How about drone in the cockpit at cruising speeds (80-90 mph)? I had only one aftermarket exhaust system and sold the car because of this issue. Maintenance: If you take the car to a Lambo dealer for maintenance will they even look at it? Do you need more frequent oil/fluid changes? I drive 3-5K miles per year. Heating / Cooling. It gets sooo hot here in Florida in the summer. Can the stock cooling system keep up with the TT's? I'm starting with an 09 G bone stock. I admire all you boys with 1000+ plus HP cars but I'm really looking for input just from the more sedate owners of a Stage 1 kit. Thanks for the assist.
