  1. Keep in mind that someone that blows that kind of money on mods, that they must know they will lose their shirt on return on investment, generally doesn't give a crap that no one likes their choice of paint color and that they are going to lose even *more* money.
  2. You're welcome. However, I am not sure if the LP640 will take the same exact Centric ceramic pads. If not, they might have a ceramic pad that fits your calipers.
  3. As a follow up, the new pads are producing next to no dust, and they are perfectly quiet and smooth. They grab linearly with brake pedal pressure so if you stomp on them, they grab hard. They are not grabby like the stock pads on initial pedal, which some people like. I don't. I'm definitely keeping them on. Since I don't track the car, I don't see me replacing them until it's time to sell the car. Then I'll put back on the squeaky, dusty stock pads for originality. In the mean time, I will enjoy always having clean wheels without having to clean them every day.
  4. I would be very happy if the problem was me being inept, but how do the exhaust springs to chassis mounts have anything to do with the width of the Fabspeed exhaust pipes going into the primaries? In my pic, I am just holding the exhaust onto the 2 primaries.
  5. Not sure why they would post photos of a >$200K car without a rear view mirror either.
  6. I looked again this morning when putting back on the old exhaust. The left bank isn't going in even a little more as it's very close to the engine metal. Haven't heard back from Fabspeed, but it is the weekend. This thing is definitely going back no matter what. It's never going to fit.
  7. And I've had an LOC exhaust both with secondary cats and with factory secondary cat deletes and both setups fit fine. Looking like either FabSpeed sent me the wrong exhaust or they have a bad jig. Cutting up the FabSpeed to make it fit would be a royal pain with the resonators in the way. Plus you would have to do both sides an equal amount or the exhaust tips wouldn't be centered.
  8. Was yours that far off as well? 1 1/8 inches is a lot. I am not sure there's that much room, if the joints can even flex that much, as my O2 sensor on the right is almost touching the heat shield already. I am very curious to hear from megachad how the Diablo version differed from the Murci version. He got Diablo version to work on his Murci, but it was leaking. I think that would be same for my situation if I moved the joint at the primaries that much.
  9. Ugh. That's how you end up with cracked exhausts over time. Why cant they just make them right?
  10. Megachad, What were the symptoms of being sent the Diablo version of the exhaust instead of the Murci one? I just received my Fabspeed exhaust today, and it looks like I just wasted a bunch of time and effort for nothing because the exhaust is too narrow at the primaries by about 1 1/8 inch. I don't feel like that amount can be made up by loosening the primaries, which is a pain in the butt too if I had to do that. Thanks, Stimpy
  11. I don't see where your instructions say to remove the silentbloc fixing nut to the shift lever device support. That's another big constraint holding on the shift assembly to the transmission.
  12. If you PM your email, I will forward you the 15 pics that he sent me of the trunk, engine and interior.
  13. Sorry, they want $160, not $150: http://www.bellevuebentley.com/used-cars/d...WBU16M33LA00715
  14. The Lamborghini dealer about an hour away has a comparable black 03, but they want $150K. Cats Exotics is not so far away, and if it's a good car, I am surprised they haven't tried to buy it and sell it for more.
  15. If no one responds with a nearby shop for a PPI, you'll just have to do the googles and call around for a competent mechanic. It's great that you can get eyes on it in a short time frame because if it's a real car that is as good as Donald claims, it won't last long at that price.
  16. Correction, I did get about 15 more pics from "Donald." They are pretty low res, but they show the engine, interior, and trunk. it does look nice. But is it real??
  17. I asked about the reason for the rear bumper only change and pics of the interior and engine, and I got basically a form letter and a lot of pressure to discuss the car over the phone. But the strange thing is this phone number has a lot of reports of being used recently for IRS scams even though it has a 1980's answering machine with Donald's greeting: https://www.everycaller.com/phone-number/1-360-362-4692/ Good luck with these jokers. ------------------------- Thank you for contacting CARS AT LARGE, The 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago it's an incredible looking vehicle, with ONLY 11,000 miles on it,in showroom condition, with no damage,no mechanical problems and paperwork in good order. The interior looks brand new, is fully functional and smells great. The paint is original, no scratches, dents or scuffs, and is up to car collector expectations in it's current condition. The car is in perfect condition , inside and outside. 18. Thanks for the inputs! I do have the Speedlines in chrome in the attic. I would either need to bite the bullet and pay through the nose to have them de-chromed and painted silver, or sell them and buy silver ones. The Speedlines look great in silver on the yellow. But my favorite are still the Hercules. They are a wild design that people really seem notice and like. I am really surprised that there aren't any shops in Florida that can do black chrome. But it's not that big of an expense to ship the wheels to be refinished, if needed. I agree, the titanium color would look good with the yellow, and if the car wasn't still so futuristic in its shaped and had a regular yellow instead of the brilliant pearly-gold yellow, I would probably go with titanium over black chrome. They do make a chrome titanium too, and that might be even better.
  19. 0 feedback on eBay is a concern.
  20. Opps, I was wrong. It probably was the engine blower!
  21. I would definitely think that's the AC blower. Lambo isn't big on putting roots type blowers sticking out of the rear hoods.
  22. Does anyone have pics of a Murci (preferably a bright color like yellow) with black chrome Hercules wheels? Everyone loves the black ones on my car, but I think they hide the nice design of the Hercules wheels unless you are really close to them. I am thinking a black chrome or titanium chrome paint job would go well with the pearl yellow. What do you think?
  23. If you don't want to spend on a lift system, Harbor Freight has their 3 ton low profile jacks on sale for around $80/each. You only need 3 of them to safely get the car up and with some of their low cost 6 ton jack stands the car will be almost 2 feet in the air. Even with plenty of room, those pumps are painful because they just spit a little out for every pump and you end up accidentally pulling the hose out of the fill hole several times while you're pumping like mad. When you're doing 2 diffs and a gearbox, it sux.
  24. Interesting that it has a clean CarFax. The upgraded rear bumper with no front bumper or side scoop upgrades combined with the oddly low buy-it-now eBay price points to a rear end damaged vehicle. http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Rep...9BC10U43LA12446 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lamborghini-Murcie...r-/181994810014 Little odd that carsatlarge has it listed in a classified for $134K and they are the seller on eBay at $118K. Did they really drill the front bumper to mount a license plate holder? If so, that's criminal negligence. I'd get it really checked out before I moved on it, but if it's solid, that's a great price for a manual with only 11K miles.
