  1. True unless you want the factory look then al u have to do is to take the ct seats to reupholster like the factory Ann sport seats. The structure for lambo Ann sport seats is the same...
  2. I think the seats at least still better than the factory power ones that weight too heavy other than the sport seats offered from factory... I guess its possible to always source a ct kit car seat and have it reupholstered like the factory ones... the factory ones are just the original seats with different upholstery padding... the vents look just painted though....
  3. yes. to the avid ferrari collector possibly and given that Schumacher has numerous contributions that makes his tie in to Ferrari pretty legit. . But if it was some celebrity, not worth it... But looking at the price, not too much off from what Enzo goes for now... so, perhaps maybe max at 100k premium... maybe...
  4. yeah the side skirt is no but still on the fence about the top air vents... the side vent on doors look okay to me... the seats I like without the lambo logo...
  5. its on a video. notice they blacked out the edges near the rear light and also the rear scoop as well... black wheels but I think still too small given the bumper...
  6. lol. exforbes diablo... But Im pretty sure it wasnt bought at a premium...
  7. perhaps and it would depend on the premium... but its not like older collectibles where the car has an active racing history... the guy just sat in it and drove it a bit and not in any historical racing event... My point being that most cars are now being labeled as ex prince this or ex van halen or whatever star to try to tag on value. Maybe Schumacher can pass the add a premium to the car test because he has the tie in to the marque... but when I see some of those cars out there like that ex tyson lambo diablo...it makes me really cringe that there are people who fall for that stuff hook line and sinker and pay premium for it...
  8. Oh and those lounge chair seats gotta go. This Ann ct had aftermarket sport seats which look way better than even the factory sport seat option... Notice owner painted the side ducts in contrasting black and the top side vents in black to closer resemble the older model ct...
  9. yeah whoever buys it at a premium is a butt sniffer...lol
  10. at the end has the fuel injected Ann with valve exhaust Kreisegg
  11. The non valves looks to be straight pipes with no muffler... The valved have mufflers...
  12. Ansa exhaust is constructed of aluminized steel which is crap compared to full stainless Steel in terms of durability...aluminized steel is really just coated steel. If the coating is scratched, steel can start to corrode... Stainless won't... So if quicksilver is cheaper than ansa, it's a hell of a deal since just material differences should make the quick silver more expensive... If it looks the same as ansa just paint it black and slap ansa logo on it... Voila ansa look with way better quality.
  13. It's the kreisegg exhaust on a fuel injected ct(fuelie)
  14. Lol ac on my car works fine... Plus I'm no where near old fart status;).
  15. Lol. Actually, I appreciate all cars...but I just feel getting in an exotic car should be exactly that...exotic. It isn't just about how fast the car is but how it delivers it... I wouldn't say it would necessarily be pita to get that feeling... I drive the diablo with great comfort, no drama, with functioning cold ac... It's just hard to put into words though how it differs from the new cars... Drama isn't delivered in just speed but through everything about the car..
  16. That's I think where I would draw the line too... And those cars are right on the line... Tiptoe back and forth on the line close...lol
  17. Tried that too and still feels more pull and push than visceral...but that may be just me...lol. You can ask Allan if he thinks so on the gallardo platform even with the TT system he had before....
  18. Ive never been excited by the koenigsegg... that beig said though, its still impressive given that they were like the lamborghini before Chrysler and audi took over lamborghini. A small independent outfit cranking out boutique cars. And of course, with boutique cars, nothing will be absolutely nor could anyone expect bugatti like quality simply because the funds are simply not there. Imagine putting VW as koenigsegg's sugar daddy and I'll bet that the car will have all the support possible. Im sure everyone has seen the pagani door not closing issue on youtube... thats boutique and thats what you buy into when you consider pagani or even koenigsegg...
  19. agree to disagree. Try driving a ct, diablo , and then a mac back to back... you'd yawn at how well the modern day cars dish out ridiculous speed with little fanfare. Perhaps that is progress, but also something lost in modern exotics. Ive bolt up on a mac at 160mph and feel impressed but not as fulfilling as taking a ct at 60mph. The steering, the gear shift, everything all ties in to a blend of sounds and syncronization between man and machine... The new cars... they do pretty much everything for you... press , pull and mission accomplished...
  20. Actually, Countach and diablo ac aren't as bad as most think...as long as people maintain or service them properly... Key though for those cars is that they feel much more visceral than the newer cars
  21. I cant go into any dine in movie theaters. Ive gone a few times and Ive slept through the movie... It was too damn comfortable with the blanket, laid back reclining chairs that I fell asleep. But it was good for determining in my mind what a good movie was... If it was a boring movie, Id be asleep in no time!lol.. The movie WWZ was decent... not the best since it got a little flat in the middle and end. I agree that the family was a bit laid back in a crisis situation involving the entire human race... cool though was the general idea of rationalizing zombies... that being said, not a movie I wouldnt go see it again a second time...
  22. Try a diablo or countach on for size and you will understand even more... The fact is that the typical consumer now for exotics are so video game friendly that manufacturers have followed that trend to paddle shifting traction control everything type of cars that provide very little driver involvement.... Blame it on the text messaging, smart phone, and social media gazillionaire prince and princesses that multitask while speeding at 100mph plus....
