  1. Since the launch control is pretty rough on the clutch, I thought I would at least do it while its being documented. Gave a ride to a YouTuber and I must say he does a nice job with these clips...
  2. Thanks Nath4N, I enjoy your posts here! Thanks Albert! I know you love the brand as much as I do. Thank you!
  3. Uffff, so happy for you! Do me a favor and drive the hell out of it!
  4. Kane, I'm a 6'3, 275 lb natural bodybuilder and I just fit inside the Stradale and have 2-3 cm of head room depending on how I style my hair Regarding the things you mentioned, first of all let me tell you I am a very big Lambo enthusiast! I cannot even begin to explain to you how much passion I have for the brand so obviously I know exactly what your on about but guess what? I bought the car knowing all those things. I have a very bad lower back condition which I was born with it and I started bodybuilding because of that so you could imagine how I feel in those bucket seats after just 5 min of driving! Having said that, the only time in my life that I don't feel the pain is when I'm driving a Lamborghini, I wont even give my brain the time to process the pain the only thing I think of is DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE! The funnier thing is that I always wanted a Manual transmission car, now that would be even crazier for a guy like me but unfortunately when I wanted to order a Superleggera, the 4WD 6 speed chassis were gone. The other car that we can compare the Gallardo to would be the 458, honestly nothing about the 458's design language interests me, I'm not saying its a junk car It's a Ferrari, it has to be perfect, it's technically a great car but through my eyes it's very boring. I hate the double clutch system, its too perfect, it almost feels like I'm playing GT5 or Forza and yes I love the technically terrible E-gear system and at least they never gave up improving it and it's much better now. I always have it on Corsa mode and every time I shift I feel like I have just made my back worst. It honestly feels like my spine just shattered and I LOVE IT! You can imagine how much I love the ISR transmission of the Aventador!!! Now regarding the interior, my Navigation system doesn't even work at the moment because this is a Euro spec car and apparently needs to be reprogrammed. Bluetooth wont show up either on any of my phones, and the stereo systems sucks, I mean I feel bad for the poor music since I'm a audiophile. Again it doesn't matter since I'm too busy enjoying the car. When I first got the car I didn't even realize the A/C was off until I saw my shirt was completely wet, not sure how I managed that one as we are all programmed to press the A/C button wherever we sit in. Overall I think I love this car and about the left leg, I lay it in a 90° angle under my right leg
  5. Thank you everyone! I will try to write a review about the car very soon, meanwhile if anybody has any questions about the car, I would be glad to answer them in detail. Thanks again for the kind words!
  6. Took a long time to get her built the way I wanted but its finally here... Interior... You see those red harnesses? One of the main reasons it took so long to get here was because of the harnesses. 1025 km in 5 days And found this online... And this...
  7. I just found my grand fathers ancient Nokia phone and realized the calender ends at December 31, 2050. I truly believe that is the date the world will end. If the Mayans were capable to create a game called SNAKE and forced people to spend their life mastering it to just hear that high score dan dadan dan da dan, then I might have been on their side. For now, I will stick with "the Nokias" and their 2050 prediction!
  8. Maurizio enters Winkelmann's office... "Shtephan Shtephan Shtephan, hate to bring this up but Geneva is close! Winkelmann: Ahhh Maurizi! I wish you knew how much I regret that "new model every year" promise! So..any thoughts? Maurizio: I mean we could just showcase the Aventadar with some new Ad Personam program? Winkelmann: I promised a new model not a new color! Get Luigi in here!!! Luigi enters office: Sir? Winkelmann: Geneva, what are you thinking? Luigi: I think the Super Trofeo Performante is a wise choice! Winkelmann: But Luigi, the Super Trofeo Stradale was supposed to celebrate Italian race cars and race history... (Maurizio whispers to himself "as if we had any"). Winkelmann: A convertible race car? Luigi scratches his head: Shoot your right! Winkelmann: Alright give me a few minutes everybody. Picks up the phone and calls SEAT, asks for Luc Donckerwolke...
  9. And meanwhile he's spending his time looking for vending machine hacks and gets disappointed too!
  10. Can you please explain why would position #1 be more appropriate for street use? Because I'm thinking you probably could take a corner at 80 mph on a curvy highway but unless your in Russia you probably wont attempt a top speed run on public streets.
  11. Lets assume that position #1 is the default position of the wing as shown below on the Stradale launch images and position #2 is the angled position of the wing as seen below on the Blancpain launch images which by the way looks a lot better on the car that the flat position (not sure why they launched the Stradale with its wing flat.) So correct me if I'm wrong, position #2 will provide more downforce vs position #1 but will probably sacrifice top speed because of the drag it will create. Now for street use, would you agree that setting up the wing to position #2 would be more effective? Position #1 Position #2
  12. Thanks for the quick reply! What I meant was what is the difference between the two wing positions? Like what is the advantage of setting the wing in the second position vs the first?
  13. Quick question, the original Stradale wing is adjustable in two positions. Will this be identical? If so, what is the difference between the two positions and how does it affect the cars performance?
  14. Congrats LN! Out of curiosity, what was the mileage on the car when you bought her? Big 6 speed fan as well. Front plate looks very nice and well mounted.
  15. Got one... I love how the Burj Khalifa doesn't even come close fitting in the shot!
  16. And what a great start to the season... Episode 1, January 29 This time, Clarkson will be in the Aventador with Hamster in the Mclaren and Captain Slow in the Noble.
  17. http://foxnews.com/scitech/2012/01/19/feds...haring-website/ http://venturebeat.com/2012/01/19/megaupload-indictment/ Anonymous has responded: ''Anonymous is no longer playing nice, and we do not intend to ever play nice.'' This raises two types of debates... 1. What everyone is saying: If the feds are doing this with the current laws, imagine what will they do if SOPA and PIPA bills get passed. 2. If the feds do have the power to do this with the current laws, then why the need for bills like SOPA and PIPA?
  18. RaginBull, I provided some info regarding the Stradale in another thread which you will find below. I have also attached the Product Information file for the Stradale for you to review as well as the 570 Superleggera in case you want to do a comparison. Let me know if I could help in any other way. 19. Pics are from 1 hour ago, over 2 hours left till end of the race. Enjoy these pics... Live feed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=2ZCoc_4zc2E
  20. I have experienced many things in my life but the Burj Khalifa fireworks...let me just tell you, I hope every single living person in the world gets to see this before they die! Two pictures was the only pleasure my phone was getting, the rest was all mine!
  21. Perhaps I can provide some useful info on the Stradale. First off, it was only introduced in Rosso Mars but during all the interviews it was mentioned that it could also be ordered in Bianco Monocerus or Grigio Telesto and you could order all three colors with a black roof as an option. I have seen the car in all three colors and I can tell you that Rosso Mars is breathtaking and I am not even a fan of bright colors. It also looks nice in Grigio but it definitely doesn't feel right with Bianco. If you are planning in ordering one with standard brakes remember since the rims on this one is completely black with red calipers only, it will certainly look a lot better with CCBs because of how dark they are versus the steel brakes. Now lets talk about the wing, there is a significant improvement in downforce but it also sacrifices the cars top speed by 5 Km/h comparing in to the the normal LP 570 Superleggera which has a top speed of 325 Km/h. The wing is also manually adjustable (2 Positions) but it's not clear yet what are the differences between the 2 positions. Regarding options, back up camera is obviously gone because of the the new wing. For those people in Europe you may order the 4 point harnesses in red color instead of the regular black! The same harnesses that was used in the Sesto Elemento when it was revealed! Nobody really reviewed the Stradale since everybody thought that it was a carbon copy of the Superleggera plus a big wing but during Option Autos review, it was mentioned that it was fiercer than the normal Superleggera and the exhaust felt louder for some reason. Hope I helped anyone who is interested in ordering one.
  22. Bump. Perhaps someone who has contact with the factory might know this?
