  1. OMFG Gemlender please buy this car..... because I want a ride in it at our next C&C! That's a really beautiful combo. Nice to see you getting a few more Diablo into the corral Roy. My main reason for visiting your website is to torture myself over your menu of Diablo!
  2. OP: Highly recommend that you read the BITOG University articles before taking for granted the "weight" reco's you see thrown around on the web. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/motor-oil-101/
  3. bobistheoilguy.com is the place to find AEHASS. I doubt he is here very often these days. All the info you need for a Murci oil change is here: http://www.another board.com/vbforum/f4...208/#post132091 AEHASS even participated in that post, since his name came up.
  4. It adds up quick! When that engine comes out you do a bunch of other stuff (replace the $1000 alternator, water pump, lines, hoses, etc). Shocks are $2k/piece. Brake pads, rotors, calipers etc. I'd still like to see what a $52k service receipt looks like to see what all was done.
  5. 3300 http://www.amazon.com/CTEK-Multi-Smart-Bat...2281&sr=8-1
  6. I use a CTEK on all my cars. Optima batts need to be charged a certain way. CTEK chargers have a special mode (Storage Mode, or whatever it is called) that is suited to charging Optima batts. The charger even has a pic of the Optima battery as the icon to represent "Storage" mode. 6 mos on mine so far and no issues. But like I said, I keep the cars on the charger if they will be parked for more than a week. This was not the case when I used a Battery Tender on Optima Red Top in the past, where the battery lasted less than a year, even when kept on the charger. One upside of Optima is their lifetime warranty which can be claimed through local Auto Zone dealers.
  7. Agreed, and ive had the same experiece which is why i keep optimas on a charger when parked. But the optima fit best and i didnt want to use the interstate since the one that came with the car expired quickly.
  8. Same here. I tried several batts. Interstate fits well. Diehard needs a shim on two sides. Optima needs a shim on one side. I didnt try others. I ended up installing the optima and used the diehard in another car.
  9. Perhaps. There have been some quality, well-supported indie titles coming from solo or duo developers (Live For Speed comes to mind). If the game is fun then they will quickly be able to staff up. Not seeing it is going to be as popular out of the gate as Angry Birds, but it could be if they delivered it properly. I know plenty of car/computer guys who have been waiting for this for a long time. But you're correct...it is all very lofty objectives.
  10. Lol Allan you're so sad You're absolutely right about one thing...i'll never spend money anywhere near where you are involved. Allan: 1 SP Engineering: -$100k You're a winner Allan! And a great service to your sponsors. Your reputation as the biggest douche on the internet is what any vendor would want front-facing a community for them. Now walk, pissant.
  11. I'm heartbroken. Next time don't go forwarding our sales correspondence to Allan for a laugh, because you should know Allan is an attention-whore and will run to his Lpower playground to post it up. I had never planned to bring this up or air your dirty laundry about your crappy customer service, obviously, since I've had many opportunities to call you all out on it. I had a couple people advise me to raise a stink with Alex while we were in the heat of the moment, but I didn't want to in case it caused you issues in your job Will. I didn't want to go there. The last thing I would want to do is impact someone's career just because a spiteful asshole wasn't getting his dose of attention that day and decided to lash out. I had let it go. Allan (the spiteful asshole referenced above), on the other hand, brings it up in almost every reply to a thread where I have posted, so blame him for all this coming up again.
  12. @Allan: You are an idiot and you are boring with the same droll rhetoric over and over. No one in this thread is here to kiss your ass so there's nothing for you here. Please move along. @Alex: Will sure seemed happy to help me out when I spoke with him earlier this year (I have the email correspondence to prove it if you'd like). I spoke with you, Alex, as well when I called and you explained your Stage 1 (bolt on) vs Stage 2 (rebuild). Then Will and Allan had their email fun which led to a flame thread here by Allan, which was then pulled within hours (LOL). *I* decided at that point not to do business with you guys, because of Will's behavior. You guys were more than willing to sell me a kit though at the time until Allan soured the deal with his childish behavior. But if you want to pretend now like you're "too cool for school" then be my guest. I wasn't planning on going to you for anything in the future anyway after the last experience. All worked out for the best. I ended up just getting another car and am enjoying the variety instead of selling the Murci, buying a Diablo, and TT'ing it. And from what I hear from your neighborhood competitors, yours and every other TT Diablo in the world runs like shit anyway. I suppose that's why we never get any updates on your threads about the cars you have TT'd so far? Anyway, back on topic again (not sure why you guys insist on derailing the OP's thread...how rude)... I agree 100% with Sprite that the audience-funded model will not work. They need to just come out with a cheaper, quicker, simplified version of their design, do a reality check with the crowd (and get feedback) and then grow into a more mature product. SimCity would be a good example in this genre. It started life as a VERY simple simulation and over time spawned a whole market of Tycoon and Sim-world type products. This has a lot of potential. Maybe the could just build an ipad app, or a small web-based game first (one where you create a profile, progress through the game, have save points, etc).
  13. So back on topic... They are taking pre orders on their site. http://automationgame.com/ Ive read of it described as "Automation Tycoon" I hope it is more complex than the usual Tycoon game.
  14. Never left. Just because Allan is a useless cock hoarder doesn't mean I run off. I just lurk more and take my contributions elsewhere because (as you can see) Allan is a sore loser who can't let the past go. LOL. Poor sad little Allan.
  15. Aww still sore that you got called on costing SP a tt install? Shame you had to delete that whole thread to cover your dumb ass. Lol Moron
  16. Nah... You are so used to people kissing your ass that i feel compelled to swing by and piss you off once in a while. Hey to make you feel better, so you know you're not alone, I found this article for you... http://mobile.slate.com/rss.jsp?rssid=411&...%26device%3drss
  17. LOL @ Allan Sore...loser (Get over yourself and let people post a thread without sticking your insecure little dick in the mix)
  18. Reiter's R-GT mounts onto the center panel instead of the fender. It's about $10k US dollars. Beautiful wing but imho needs more body kit such as a front splitter and rear diffuser to balance it out..even on an LP640.
  19. You will need a double din trim piece. Email John at macarbon he will set you up.
  20. I have some of the service records and additional pics of this car if anyone is interested they can PM me. It's in great shape for the miles. Fairly priced too.
  21. Sorry Allan. I thought SP Racing might be interested in my business. I'll take your post to mean that you are speaking for your sponsors and that I should look elsewhere. Thanks
  22. Any updates? Dyno numbers? How is the reliability so far? How close to stock is the non-WOT behavior? Very much looking forward to a follow up on this kit.
  23. Congratulations Andrew! You deserve this and and much respect for keeping it together during this ordeal. And definitely a big thanks to Roy. I just have a feeling he helped a bit.
