Based on what you guys have said, I suppose that the "long nose" on the right (1984) originally looked like the bumper on the second 1984 5000S listed in nsxer's thread (the one with with the doors open).

The third-to-last '84 5000S actually just cleared up my question from my other thread, so thanks!!

Ahh, I see, thanks. Well if they did (on the right), it looks like a fairly believable job because they were able to eradicate the license plate notch, duel center under-holes, install the vents, and move the lights. Plus, the underside notch around the outside corners of the driving lights is there on the right where there wouldn't be enough material on a USA bumper. I can't help but wonder if it would end up costing the same just to transplant an authentic euro bumper.

I was curious if anyone around here knew the story behind the subtle change in bumper style when the QV came along. I can tell it's a tad longer on top, but are there also some angular differences around the driving lights? Not sure about the flat trim portions of the side contours either.

I'm surprised no one has commented yet on the look on this lady's face that says it all... ...or how you could be so unaware as to be the other dude looking away.

I also took that video to just be having fun with it. Looks like fun to me -- good show. (although, video has a way of slowing things down and robbing us of our senses. I bet the perceptions from the cockpit weren't as simple)

I've been following this thread with great interest, so thanks for posting it Albert-LP. General interior question for everyone who has seen it done well...is there anything inside the CT that is simply not do-able, such as going from a black interior to a white interior? I've been guessing about $10k in the 'States for a quality job, so I hope I'm not too far off the mark.
