  1. I am yes, unfortunately the new owner is a guy (nice chap though) as no blondes volunteered to buy the car, so you'll either have to cry into your hat or change your sexual orientation (and his)!
  2. Hi My air pump is up on ebay here; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Air-Pump-for-Lamborg...1QQcmdZViewItem If you want it to get your car through its emissions tests, place a bid. Cheers!!! Jim
  3. It's now sold, I got £42,000 for it. Not too bad.
  4. Price now reduced to £45,000 o.n.o.
  5. I'm sure Ferrari never put Lambo doors on their cars for a reason. Being seen to follow where Lambo lead would be a major publicity coup for Lamborghini. "Look at Ferrari! How they copy our 80s door designs on their 00s cars!"
  6. No, things are pretty slow. Several enquiries, none of them particularly serious though. Two offers of £40K from people who really only wanted a 5000S. I need to sell to someone who wants a QV in order to get a decent price. Other QVs for sale ATM are dearer than mine, too...
  7. My '87 has remote power locks but I think that's down to the after market remote alarm system.
  8. If you ask Mike Pullen at Carrera Sport, he reckons Chrysler made a bit of a hash of the 25th. I recall he mantioned, among other things, the sheer weight of the gearbox compared to the QV - I'm sure he implied the 25th is a heavier and slower car because of all the add-ons and changes Chrysler made. Basically they tried to make it into a more American supercar. During the 25th's unveiling, at which Mike was present, the Chrysler chief exec got no applause when he took the stage, whereas Feruccio's guest appearance caused an ovation. In Mike's opinion the QV is the ultimate Countach and the last one that was a true thoroughbred Lambo. A great example is the power windows - what true sportscar manufacturer would add in that huge window motor with all the extra weight, just to open the window 2"? The 25th was given over to luxury over performance. It was a fat car.
  9. You mean like this one? *coughcough* http://www.lambo-power.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6788 Still up for sale
  10. Latest update: Car now has brand new MOT and Tax, and I'm mulling over the possibility of accepting offers below the desired £47,000 price tag.
  11. Thanks Am considering popping it up on Ebay in a few weeks time. How much are you asking in US dollars?? Er, I think it works out at $83,000. But then UK car prices tend to be way higher than US prices.
  12. Thanks Am considering popping it up on Ebay in a few weeks time.
  13. My Countach has a rear window??? *goes outside to check* Oh my god! You're right! I never noticed it before.
  14. Yeah I get that too, it is kinda aeronautical, lol
  15. Yes it is still available, complete with recent engine-out service and new clutch.
