    aventador race

The clean sheet design of the Aventador's engine from the original Murcielago didn't even have that torque gain. Would you like to make a wager? I don't think you actually understand the physics behind engine design. If you disagree, how about you PM me.

    aventador race

I doubt it highly. The 650s has a huge jump in torque that the Aventador update isn't going to have. Transmission on the 650s is improved a lot over the 12C as well.

New Flagship for McLaren - P15

I think it will be interesting to see when Ricardo feels it is time for direct injection (or even VGT). I know they did a lot of trade studies prior to finalizing the M838T, but we'll see

    Nordschleife vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

I've driven a few iterations of their software, but it's still too much braking regen. Of course it's a balance between performance and energy recovery, but we're trying to optimize four individual variables. I still think it's not quite there yet

New Flagship for McLaren - P15

The general design of the engine was born from Nissan's racing engine, but Ricardo and McLaren completely reworked it. As far as I know, only some general dimensions stay the same.

New Flagship for McLaren - P15

It is possible with current day crash regulations, but the car would have been far wider and bigger to have this layout. That was not a parameter that McLaren wanted to give up. Compactness has always been an important design criteria for McLaren

    Nordschleife vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

I don't own exotics, but my job does require me to do a lot of data analysis and telemetry for them. So yes, I do sometimes get to take them out a little. I have quite a few members of the family who are big time collectors, so I have been more into vintage stuff for a long time

    Nordschleife vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

Drove the car in Leipzig. Sounds really really good. Not that I'm focusing that much on the sound when I'm going towards a corner at insane speed (didn't dare to look down) and trying to judge braking point. Brake feel was kinda iffy. Good stopping power, but poor transition between regen braking and physical braking.

    Nordschleife vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

I've driven the 918. No the average driver isn't pulling 2G. But within your own limits, it feels fast. Way faster than any Aventador, MP4-12C, etc

    Nordschleife vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

these cars' performance envelope is so forgiving, anyone can drive fast. skilled drivers can extract that extra bit for speed, but it doesn't make the experience any less fun

So, conjecture again. McLaren's new Pirelli Trofeo R are stickier rubber. P1 can improve it's acceleration times significantly. There are already P1 owners trying to get the new tire to take to Spa Francochamp.

    Nordschleife vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

Wrong, P1's numbers are from a runway in the draggiest mode and stiffest mode on used tires. It will easily do a 9.5 second quarter in customer's hands Pirelli just revealed custom Trofeo R's for the P1. They are much more aggressive than the custom corsas on the P1 currently.

these are so goddamn fast, I can't wait for the huracan to come
