  2. Btw, you would not belive what that Citron sold for in last years auction. Were talking Ferrari 250 Lusso price range.
  3. + 1 been many times bought some good things but most of the times it's garbage not worth re-selling, and lots of plain clothed cops there asking why are you buying that etc. Most cases you will find toyotas like this or burned and crashed. Also not to mention you will overpay if you get into a bidding war with someone else. overall stay away unless you have a lot of cash to throwaway or do a crazy amount of research !
  4. +1, there is a Lambo owner in so.cal who has a couple of lambo's but drives a Honda Civic "NGV" Natrual gas. He said the # of miles he puts on that civic is just about more what you mentioned in the post but he says saves a lot on $ on service and fuel. I don't want to discourage used high end Luxury cars, there are some good buys out there but in cali, catalytic converters do fail and cost an insane amount of $$$$$$ in some cases they cost more then the car itself as for the Audi story, been there done that bought one for parts and it was that just a parts car to fix another one.
  5. If you are 100% set on it ok, no sesne in talking you out of it but make sure you see the smog done in front of you. meaning you take it to any smog station, why if the dealer know's someone to get it passed then 2 years run buy call the dealer up on that car and ask how much the catalytic converters are on that car. Might not be worth it as per the comment - get something - newer - i'd say 10000000% on that. you might end up with something you can not afford to fix, seen so many times cars get into a shop and i'd mention how clean it looks but failed smog.
