  1. Bull Proof? Maybe as bullet proof as a bowl of jelly. I'm on my 4th lambo and I love every one despite maintenance issues and crazy repair pricing. Get an e-gear. You'll be sorry if you don't.
  2. For the MY2006 (launched in late 2005) Lamborghini introduced many changes to the car to counter some criticisms garnered from the press and owners. These were based on the limited edition Gallardo SE. The exhaust system was changed to a more sporty one (including a flap to make it quieter around town), the suspension was revised, a new steering rack was fitted, the engine power was increased by 20 bhp to a maximum of 520 metric horsepower (382 kW; 513 hp), and the biggest change was an overall lowering of the gearing, especially in 1st to 5th. The result was a much improved car; it handled and turned better, sounded better under full throttle and the extra power and lower gearing made an already fast car into a much faster one.
  3. Please please save your money and buy an 06. There are too many engineering upgrades to list here and the 06 drives like a different car as well. Also, you need to understand that exotics out of warranty can cost you a fortune to own. Good Luck.
  4. Lambo is replacing the Gallardo with a completely new model for late 2013 called the Cabrera. The current car is ten years old and they want to be more competitive with the 458. It will be sporting a supercharged V10 engine with around 600 PS (441 kW / 592 bhp). Expect some Aventador styling cues. As expected, only a dual-clutch transmission will be offered.
  5. I just brought my R8 in from Chicago. At the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles), they'll do a California compliance inspection which is basically a formality. It's best to make an appointment because the wait for walk-in's is pretty bad.
  6. That price is way to high for year and mileage. Maybe 75K
