  1. Lovely write up ! Agree the same regarding the SV vs Aventador. An issue that not many have is that i am 6ft7. Hence i can not compare the Gallardo comparisons. I have driven both SV and Aventador and have put my money where my mouth is and the SV is the one. On top of that I have found a manual one, whcih just makes it perfect. Picking her up today! Very excited!! If it weren't for my size, i would also get a Diablo GT. Love those rwd beasts!! D.Wiggs, I wouldnt dare touch my SV, it will remain as standard as it is. Although I would love a RWD lambo v12, i just can not imagine doing that to my SV. Once LP640 prices drop more, i might go RWD on a Roadster lp640. Surely doing that to your SV ruins all value of it? Are you going to TT it as well ?! That will be insane fun i'm sure!!
  2. U need to decide exactly u are looking for. Your post suggests u want smthg thats easy to get into, go for a blast have fun and then park it back in the garage without much hassle. The SLS is gonna be pretty much that (although no manual, but then the slushbox will tick the easy/comfort tag again) plus it will oversteer till the tires are finished, sounds fantastic, and has those awesome gullwings. On top of all that depreciation has been a killer for new owners (atleast in europe it has, im guessing same in USA), so pick up one with 3-5k miles, with Merc warranty and you are set. Oh, and keep the SV !
  3. interesting ... im a physical 6ft7, and dont have any issue (relative to other supercars, and to my height expectations for space) with a manual and the clutch in an lp640. its because of the space on the left side btw the steering wheel and the door, which is nice and wide. manual for me any day !! its not about it being easy, otherwise just get a GT-R or McLaren mp4. its about the challenge and feeling connected and fully in control of the car!
  4. that looks awesome !! so neat and clean, exactly how a lp640 should be kept, no wings, etc. !!
  5. cool thanks tommy, that makes sense. how about the number of manuals produced ? .... srry to keep asking, but I have a specific interest in the manual variety
  6. Spike, that is an awesome Registry. Are the number random? If only 186 were built, and there is a #349, they must be allocated randomly? Do you have any idea of the number of manuals?
  7. any idea of total number of manuals. so that means the full qouta of 350 was not fullfilled? how come in the registry link you gave, it seems there is a #349 for example? were they given random numbers of the lot, instead of in chronological order of being manufactured?
  8. srry, are you saying 186 MANUALS were built?
  9. Hey guys, New to this forum! 1) Anyone know the exact amounts of SV's built? Was the aim of 350 fully allotted? 2) How many manuals were built, world wide? Serious questions for serious reasons! Cheers!
