McLaren F1. This college design student needs to try again.

WTF is that supposed to be?

It's actually not that bad of a design. I kind of like it.

Too many Gallardo styling cues that are negated by some misc uglyness.

It's a contest being run by Ferrari and an Italian art institute for young students. They submit their designs, Ferrari and Pininfarina pick the best one, and that student wins the chance to basically be a Pininfarina groupie for a week. They'll tour the facility, hang out with pro designers, see how the process really works, etc.

 

The winning design will not be the basis for a new F-car. Unfortunately.

Looks good.

Almost looks like a toy car, kinda fat. Maybe the wheels are just too big.

not bad, sorta interesting. lots of gallardo/zonda wedge-styling, honestly best thing theyd have in the line up if they made it...

i like this one better... well, the front anyway, the rear needs re-doing but this gets my vote:

That's the only good design out of the group, with the possible exception of the first one in this thread. The rest are terrible.
