Lightning Report post Posted April 26, 2006 My friend just got a CLK 430 Benz (not an AMG though). Pretty sweet car but his payments are ridiculous considering he still lives with his parents. Id drive the hell out of the one you posted. I bet that thing hauls some serious asss.
pockmark Report post Posted April 26, 2006 It looks like its fast, I just dont know how reliable it would be. It looks like they did a real $hitty job with the plastic engine covers.
aedmon640 Report post Posted April 26, 2006 pikemike, don't take this the wrong way, but you seem like a smart guy. Why not save that money for something else and get the toys later? Though i too would question the reliability.
pockmark Report post Posted April 27, 2006 Im not buying it, I just wanted to hear peoples thoughts. My money is in the right place. I bought my first home at 23, and I drive a civic to save gas. Believe me I know all about sacrifice...
sftobr Report post Posted May 6, 2006 those seats just don't make it in a Mercedes. I have similar seats in my GT3 and they look and feel great. However freedom is a beautiful thing and anyone can do what they want. This car IMO is overdone!!!! On the other hand it must be a rip to drive. Sidewayzmaster Report post Posted May 6, 2006 haha pikemike have you thought about droppin some money into that civic I'm curious just to see how much hp you can really squeeze out of a civic i must say they are very amazing little machines for the price... pockmark Report post Posted May 6, 2006 No. I used to think like that a long time ago, but I just use it because I get 30+ miles per gallon and REALLY cheap maintenance. There are cars that I could afford that are much faster out of the box, and easily moddable, but I just bought a house and Im into making money now instead of spending money. I have seen 600-800hp versions of my car, but at the end of the day its still a civic. I drive 60+ miles round trip and a turbo/sc would hurt the reliability of it.
