RedShft Report post Posted May 12, 2008 I love the front license plate holder. It appears to be some type of novelty tag. The license plate mount is offset just beside it.

Lambochop Report post Posted May 13, 2008 The Orochi. Fug as a bug! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsuoka_Orochi
VCR Report post Posted May 13, 2008 ^That about sums it up. Mitsuoka is a legit automobile manufacturer in Japan which specializes in odd-ball retro-looking car using donor chassis & machanicals. They actually make a model which resembles an old Jaguar (pics attached) but only 2 sizes smaller using a domestic mini car by Nissan. And don't ask me about its name. I saw the Orochi back in late 2005. It is supposedly Mitsuoka's first "total in-house design" car (but it still uses a Toyota engine) and is named after a Japanese Mythological beast which literally translates as "big snake". The car, henceforth, is suppose to resemble a snake. First & last pics were from the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show and the in betweens were from 2007's. Nice carbon fibre work (not sure if they are just laminate or the real thing) but on a weird-looking car.
