Blue-V10 Report post Posted July 20, 2009 My tach works but not my speedo, or ABS or ESP and my spoiler light is on. My odometer still works.Where is the loose wire?
Turbo50Mike Report post Posted July 20, 2009 There is a speed sensor on the drivers side of the transmission. Check that.

Blue-V10 Report post Posted July 20, 2009 Thanks for the input. I lifted the car and looked at the driver's rear. There is a brake wear sensor and what must be the ABS sensor on the other side of the caliper. Everything seems intact. There is nothing hanging from the trans. In front of the drive shaft on the trans is a black, round thing with a cable coming out. The speedo sensor? It seemed intact. I guess I'll just bring it in to the dealer. I would snap a cable back on a sensor, but it doesn't seem obvious to me where the problem is.
jefflambo Report post Posted July 20, 2009 The left/front abs wheel speed sensor supplys signal for abs/esp speedo and the wing. Could be bad sensor phonic wheel, wires, or ecu. I would have to test to tell you which one is bad.

I had the exact same problem recently, and it was the wire between the ECU and front left ABS sensor
