fmari Report post Posted August 14, 2009 Talking to the wife yesterday and we decided the typical point and shoot camera just isn't doing it for us. For certain family events or moments we would like some better photos. I am looking for a nice digital SLR that is somewhat easy to use. My wife doesn't want to site all week reading the damn manual. I think 10mp is more than enough. We are just looking for pictures a little better than your standard point and shoot can provide. My budget is under $1000 for camera and flash. Guest SP-superJay Report post Posted August 14, 2009 D40, D70, or D90 are all great cameras for the typical family event usage.
