Anaheim Deputy Chief Of Police and good friend, Craig Hunter is running to replace appointed Sheriff Sandra "the gun grabber" Hutchens. He's a life long OC resident, wants to run the department with more fiscal common sense, and believes law abiding citizens have a right to defend themselves. If any of the local guys would like to come out and meet him, there will be a free (Youve got to buy your own food) meet and greet at J.T Schmid's in Anaheim across from the Pond. on Monday November 23 at 6pm. It would be a GREAT chance to meet a really good guy who's likely to be the next top law enforcement officer in Orange County. Not CCW "Insurance"... Maybe "Issuance"? CCW is a Concealed Weapons permit. In California, one must apply to his local Sheriff to get one, and they have wide latitude in deciding who gets them and who doesnt (usually in exchange for BIG campaign donations). Orange County recently had a new sheriff APPOINTED (they are an elected official, she was put in by the Board Of County Supervisors after the previous sheriff was indicted). She has revoked most of them (I still have mine). There are two people running against her. One is Bill Hunt who is good on the issue, but he has NO SUPPORT from the local political parties, and therefore little chance of beating her. His supporters (who are basically the Minuteman/militia type guys) dont yet understand that.... His big fundraiser so far was to ship in "Joe Arpiao from Phoenix to speak for him. The problem- Joe is probably about to be indicted HIMSELF) The other is Craig Hunter is is JUST As good on the issue ( NOBODY CARES OR KNOWS MORE ABOUT THIS ISSUE IN CALIFORNIA THAN ME- And I HELPED WRITE HIS POLICY).
