Looking for an airbag ECU part # 6037932

My airbag ECU on my 99 SV is showing an intermittent fault based on the LIE download. Its working fine now, but I was thinking of getting a back up airbag ECU in case this one is on its way out. This is NOT the main ECU, just the airbag controller. The Lamborghini part number is 6037932. It shows up on standard parts lists with a price of around $1,000 but I can't find it at any dealer in the US. I checked with Ricambi too and they can't source it either.

 

Anyone have any advice on where I could source one?

Even the factory doesn't have any in stock. And there's no word on when the next production run will be. Right now my best hope of bagging one is to see if there's one sitting on someone's parts shelf.

 

Anyone else dealt with this issue recently?  Can't find one anywhere (just found this thread from 12 years ago....).

Anyone had theirs repaired?
