That doesnt look too bad.... I dont see too much rust.... What there is just looks like its on the surface.... Maybe a little CLR...

Wheres the spare?

Assuming thats just dust dirt and grime, get in there with a damp paper towel and get to work..... Its just painted metal.... Treat it accordingly. Clean it! You could wax it if youre really feeling ambitious....

You dont want to get it TOO WET in there though....

What are you going for??? A driver or a concourse car?

Did you know you can buy a windshield washer reservoir from "Lambo Stuff"? Mine leaked also. They carry them, and they are only $34.05. It is slightly different than OEM, but heck, it works fine and DOESN'T Leak!!!

It is item number: 71010737

Just put that in the search feature on their website.

Here is what the new bottle looks like. In fact, if you want, you can use the black cap off your old bottle and makes it look more original.

Wire brush, Simple Green, sand paper, satin or trim black from Duplicolor......I think, it's been years since I did this.

Just get as much as you can, some areas are not reachable.

One thing I should have done was to blast clean all the screws and stuff I removed.

Jack placement was for show.

Yep +1 on the Optima. Evertime one of my cars needs a new battery that's what I put in. Have not needed to replace a Optima yet.

The only way to get the front trunk looking good is to clean and re spray it black.

People, don't get too excited, us owners know that it take a few miles of driving and it's dirty again.

If Ralph sells you (or anybody else for that matter) this car after he has put his blood sweat and tears into it, Ill kick his ass myself.

Thanks,

It will be sprayed, in the Spring.

The owner of the shop, is a different kind of person.

He does excellent work.

He just finished a 300SL Roadster, from the 1950's.

More pics to come.
