starting a business abroad

hi guys,

I just have a quick question, nobody around me has any idea and I thought some of you might be in that case

I am French, just got graduated as an engineer and thinking about launching my own business, but for this to work, It will have to be located abroad (thinking of Canada or USA for the moment with a preference for Canada)

How can I do that, regarding to immigration, should I just enter the country as a tourist, launch my business and if it's sucessfull take it from there?

Is it legal for a tourist to start a business

Is the law depending on the country I am aiming for?

What about bank loan, might be hard to get one not being a permanent resident in the country

Is it possible to just launch a business based in France, get a loan from over here and have all my activity abroad?

Thank you in advance for your time, I believe this subject could be interesting for other members as well

G

as a tourist you will have very limited time to do it 90 days on a tourist visa might not give you enough time.

Look into business migration or skilled migration.

Its Canada man. I'm not entirely sure about the rules but come on by. We usually let anyone in. And most importantly, we usually let anyone stay. Its good times here.
