SLR extended warranty

I contacted a MB dealer who has a 06 SLR for sale in canada. I asked if they offer extended MB warranty - they said they did.

 

I recall hearing extended warranties were NOT available.

 

Is this the case and if they do is the MB warranty good value?

I believe your dealer is wrong.

You can get an extended warr. here in the Uk, its complicated and expensive, with a sliding scale of what is covered for each additional year.

Forget about it. Just about anything that can break or fail is not covered. You will get ripped off.

The 4 year warranty the car comes with is worth having? Its just the MB extended warranty thats limited?

Even if a u.s SLR does have a extended warranty on it it will not be valid here last I heard OR we import a u.s SLR Benz will NOT extend the warranty simply because it's a u.s vehicle.

But also even if MB did offer extended warranty's they will NOT put one on a u.s car...NO cdn dealer will put a extended warranty on a u.s imported car.
