57udl3y Report post Posted April 15, 2010 I don't really know anything about the ipad, do they use gsm networks and do they come network unlocked? they ones with 3g aren't out yet, they use gsm, the same as the iphone, you only subscribe for a month at a time form the ipad, through att. AAD Report post Posted April 15, 2010 Thanks for the comments. I'm already working on a slimmer mount along with a universal mount for all cars. I am running a Bluetooth receiver in the dash and that's tied into the aux input on the radio. If anyone here has used an iPad you know that the battery life is amazing. I could install a charger but my battery lasts at least 2 days with using the iPad nonstop. I wanted a convenient way to pull it on and out of the car so no wires made more since to me. Although it does sound strange that would be the proper name for it. Land Rover is the brand, Range Rover is the model. Its the same as saying Porsche Cayman, Ford Escort, etc..
