After that I don't care what they do. They can fool around with a sedan, an SUV, a "Lambo Fiat 500" or whatever the hell they want, so long as the halo car is always relevant and current (which it finally is now thanks to the LP700) and the entry-level car is relevant and current (hello, Lambo?)... Every day that the entry level car's sales keep falling due to channel fatigue is another day closer to oblivion for the entire brand. Even with a boost from the LP700, the revenue that the volume car brings in is irreplaceable and a must if they're going to remain both competitive and solvent moving forward. This is a company that's been losing money since Q1 of 2009...the future is absolutely not guaranteed right now, despite the pedigree of VAG and the incorrect perception that they'll continue to dip into their vaults full of money to prop up this marque.
