ostoneman Report post Posted May 19, 2012 These are official F1 accelerations times for the 2006 Renault V10 rs26.. Out of interest, how would the big UGR cars compare to the 0-300 times ? The acceleration figures of the 2006 Renault RS26 are as follows: 0-100 km/h: 1,7 sec. 0-200 km/h: 3,8 sec. 0-300 km/h: 8,6 sec. DickSimmons Report post Posted May 19, 2012 Depend what you consider close. Their 60-130 says 3.04, and the F1 does 0-124 in 3.8, so I'd say the Renault is way quicker. They hit 177mph in 9.1 seconds, whereas the Renault hits 186 in 8.6. That doesn't look as huge of a difference, but it probably has 10x the downforce. You also can't really tell what's going on from 200-300 based on those Renault figures. It might be another 1.7 seconds up to 250, then a lot longer to just 300. F1 wins big time, even though the time frames are only a few seconds.
