Dad is looking to sell his 91 C2 964 and finally get into something new. 115,410k on the ODO. Its been garage kept and cosmetically, inside and out, its in very good condition. Glossy paint, well kept, etc. I know he has had the shittronic transmission rebuilt around 105k miles, but the mechanic ripped him, and the manual shift mode often does not work. Car also has oil leaks. Those are the two major problems. Nothing else. Car is black/black with chrome rims. If pictures will help, I'll snap some as soon as I have the chance. Kerplop Report post Posted October 22, 2012 Sounds like a pretty good car all in all if that's all that's wrong. Oil leaks are easily fixed. Although since it's air cooled I would ask what the oil consumption rate is, and of course, get a ppi and compression numbers just to be safe. If that all checks out, sounds like a pretty good car. I own a 1990 c2 coupe manual with 97,000 miles lots of upgrades. Top end rebuild, new clutch, and all service records I value my car at $25k Hope this helps.
