MIT Education for $2000?

Over the past few months I've found myself watching quite a few course lectures from various universities via iTunes-U and google documentaries and just stumbled across this TED Talks video. (Another great list of Podcasts worth checking out)

It's an interesting study on just how inefficient the established education system really is and also how much information is readily available if you are willing to put in a little bit of effort. Obviously he will never receive the $1/4m piece of paper, but from an entrepreneurial and self fulfilling point of view it's very intriguing.

I thought it was a good video and worth redirecting 12 minutes of my life from the usual internet roster of poor kids hurling e-insults at pornstars and cat captions. :eusa_shhh:

Absolutely brilliant video. Same principle as home schooling children in the early years. Lots of benefit if applied properly. College is a large financial and productivity time suck in most cases.

Yeah, but the sex and beer make up for all that.

We've got conflicting methods of raising children.

No worries brother, we have similar methods of making them.

This is awkward.
