Pega resurfaced clutch for $1200? Anyone?

Found a local company that resurfaces the OEM clutch w/ the factory disk for $1200 - anyone have technical input or experience with this product?

Ask them about the flywheel balancing and resurfacing. If you only send the clutch in what about the other components?. PIS compared to factory?.

 

Pega clutch is not good at all. There are a few people who got their clutch and had problem shifting. Deonss is right that you should have your flywheel balanced and matched too. There was a guy on R8talk and Pega clutch didn't do it with the flywheel and he couldn't shift at all.

 

Pega clutch is very sneaky and dishonest. I have Hi Tech Exotic kevlar clutch and have been happy with their kevlar clutch. Pega clutch stole my positive feedback about my Hi Tech Exotic clutch and put it on their website pretending that my positive feedback was about their clutch.

I purchased a clutch last year for a Maserati Quattroporte and Installed,set up PIS with scan tool per manufactures specs and never had a problem,Customer very happy with clutch performance,in this everyday driver, Pega Clutch is a great product. Thanks GTE Engineering

I have a Pega clutch in a LP640 that they did the complete rebalance, resurface, rebuild clutch disc. Car never drove better!!
